Just check your import and export laws please. Don't need one of us having an issue over a simple thing.

I have to admit, I have no idea what the german import laws or the american export laws are saying about this part.

Doubt anyone wants to navigate ITAR or Dept of Commerce paperwork...but you need to check your IMPORT laws first.

From what I understand, it's everything. According to the ATF; baffles, end caps, bodies, everything is considered a 'suppressor' to the ATF. So apparently, on a form 1, you can't make a multiple end cap, length, mount, suppressor.

Id check with www.silencershop.com they offer a form 1 service and have a few atf compliancy people on staff. Their error rate is pretty much zero. I bought that suppressor from them and they are awesome. I went to one of their kiosks for fingerprints and sent them a selfie and they did the rest. They even got the chief leo sign off for me and filled out the form 4 and cut the check for the stamp.

I think they probably deal with SBRs and SBSs. I don't they do much with form 1 suppressors outside the solvent trap kits.

Saw this posted locally for $750:

http://www.gunbroker.com/item/708297...odal-view-item

I asked what a realistic starting point he'd like to start out at which he replied "$2000, what kind of question is that?"

I told him I didn't want to sound like an ******* starting bidding at $300, and he came back with "well you did".

I told him I would have felt bad about it, but after his first response I didn't feel bad anymore. GFY dude, they sell brand new for $1000 and you're looking to get $500-$700 for one that is in that rough of shape? I'm done looking at used guns.

No muzzle blast or concussion, much more pleasant to shoot. There's a guy I shot next to at a match last year - his braked 7mm Rem Mag would not only beat your skull, but would kick up so much dirt that you had to keep your action closed between shot strings. I saw this month that he had a suppressor and it was nice to not hear the crack of that thing on the line.

adding to what orbital said, it would reduce a lot of noise pollution from shooting ranges, and it would help protect a lot of people's hearing. It would be especially good for hunters that don't usually wear hearing protection.

only shot a suppressor twice and both times loved it. the reduced concussion sound and reduced recoil make it worth it imo
