Default Driveline Fluids question for 2009 STI

Hello,

I’ve been literally going crazy trying to find a clear guidance on what to use. I plan to use OEM fluids and feel confident the trans takes the Subaru 75/90 extra S.

The problem is I can’t seem to get a clear answer on the differential. What is the OEM fluids for my 2009 differential?

I’ve searched and searched with so much varied information.

If you are gong to stick to OEM fluids, then just ask the Dealer what to use OR . . .

Consult your User Manual. That's what it's there for

Thanks for the confirmation and suggestion. I read the manual and it seems that the Subaru GL5 75/90w is recommenced.

Thank you!
