i actually got my Subaru from Paul Miller and the service there is absolutely horrible. Since it was a pre-certified car, there was minor things wrong and they promised to fix it for no charge. Picked up my car and nothing was fixed. They gave me the cold shoulder when i try to make an appointment to get the problems resolved. In the end, I fixed all the issues myself.

Another +1 for Ramsey.

Got my 13 sti from them. Talk with Clayton. He gave their lowest price and was alot lower then all competitors. He was straight and to the point.
Easy sale and would def. buy another Subaru from them.

My experience with them was the exact opposite.

They are a volume operation, so lots of sales are bound to go fine, and at good prices. But the other side of the coin is that they'll run you right over - sell a car out from under you, or mislead you into buying one they can't get in the promised time frame, etc. - in the attempt to keep that volume up. If the car you want is sitting there on the lot, sure it makes sense to grab it at a great price; after all, you needn't ever see them again if you don't want to. But I wouldn't order a car from them, or buy one they claim is on allocation, on a bet. There are reputable dealers in the area - Wayne Subaru for one - who deserve to be supported.

Ive been taking my wifes 2010 Legacy GT there (purchased there too) and my '05 Saabaru Aero for years now. Worked with Brian and Marco behind the counter, and have always gotten straight forward answers from them.

I've gotten calls following work to see if everything is running well and all is ok, which is nice since some followup questions come up.

Over all, I'm happy taking my cars there for service.

Only problem I have with them is, my car had a recalled asked them if I can get a loan car. They said, no because I didnt buy my car from there. All my services for my car have been done there so far that's my only complaint.

Anyone else with anymore experiences? Looking to trading in my current vehicles and finally purchasing my first Subaru by the end of the year. When I look at the reviews online for almost every Subaru dealer in Northern NJ it has more negative reviews than good ones. Its sorta discouraging. If you don't want to share to the public can always PM me.

Of course you are human. . .there is no information in that phrase and it is a waste of keystrokes.

Went to Clayton at Ramsey NJ. Best below invoice price you can get with AW matts and short shifter from the factory thrown in. Awesome. My buddy got AW matts and fogs thrown in. I kinda like the fogs. But they don't do much and at this point I would much rather have my ST shifter. After I break in the motor and drive it a bit, I'm gonna replace the bushings with the DP.

I know this an old thread, but I own a 1997 Subaru Legacy and I owned a 2005 Subaru Outback Sport Ltd and I ALWAYS liked the service I received from Prestige Subaru in Turnersville, NJ. Good people.

Bought my 2015 wrx from Dan at liberty Subaru and it was a great experience. I shopped almost every dealership in northern and central jersey before buying. Victory Subaru in Somerset had the lowest offer but gave me the "this deal will be gone if you don't sign right now" line when I told them I needed to check with my insurance company before finalizing the deal. They didn't even have the car in stock or in transit. Not a fan of that s**t. Overall I loved my experience with liberty and very much enjoyed buying my car from someone who actually drives an sti and not an acura(victory).

P.s. no hate on acura, just loved buying my subaru from a subaru driver.

I've recently had positive experience with Town Motors in Englewood NJ. I'm surprised the comments are negative.

My last visit was without appointment, and they agreed to do a quick recall remediation, and check diagnostic within 1-2 hours. They put in a bulb and changed a fuse at no charge as well.

My previous visit was also positive. I thought I'd have to pay $400 for a wheel bearing assembly replacement, but they said its covered under complimentary extended warranty since they've been seeing this issue more than expected.

+1 for Liberty.

All around honest guys. Been dealing with the same guys for years. Dan was great! The service is great as well.

Bought 2 cars from them. Referred 3 other sales to them as well.

All were pleased with the deals they got and the attention and service following the purchase.

No love for Subaru World of Newton? Maybe because of their location? Anywho, out of the three dealers I've taken my 2004 WRX, my favorite one is Subaru World of Newton. In terms of their sales team, I just placed an order for a 2016 WRX STI from them and have no complaints. It was actually a pleasurable experience.

My father purchased an outback from Hudson subaru as they offered him the best price. He only took in in for service one or two times when it was relatively new. He doesn't have any complaints and is satisfied with their operation.

I've purchased 2 Subaru's from liberty in Emerson over the last 10 years. Jeff m the salesman sold both cars to me in 2005 and 2015. It says a lot about a dealership if their sales personnel are there for that length of time. I've had pleasant sales experiences both times.

I've been happy with their service and they generally don't try to push extra services to pad the bill.

A friend of mine took his legacy gt to another subue dealer in the area and they tried pressuring him into replacing brakes prematurely and an "engine flush" . liberty told him his brakes were fine and the engine flush was not needed. He always went back to liberty for service because they were the most honest in his opinion. Their new facility in Emerson is much nicer than the previous location in oradell.

I can give kudos to both Wayne Subaru and Ramsey Subaru. Got my first two Subarus at Wayne, and likely will give them my business again. I can give props to Clayton at Ramsey, because I called and scheduled an appointment to test drive both the WRX and STI, and there were no problems test driving the STI as they had one on the lot. Out of respect for the future owner, it was a short drive. Other dealerships I perused in Northern NJ and asked about test driving the STI gave me a the ol' "you have to put a deposit down on it first" line.

I bought my Subaru WRX Limited at Ramsey Subaru on Route 17. The service there was great and I have yet to have any issues with them. Initially, my car had a speaker issue, but the dealership made the repair (which was a part replacement) free of charge since I had purchased a brand new vehicle. In the meantime, they provided me with a rental. I won't hesitate to go back there if I encounter any further issues.

Ramsey is the place to go. Inventory is always full. And if they don't have the car you want they'll order it for you.

I have to agree and give kudos to Ramsey Subaru, i got mine from Liberty big mistake, but my girlfriend and a couple buddies bought from ramsey subaru, they didn't have the exact options they wanted or color but had the car ordered. They all got their cars $4,000 cheaper then me their service department is nice as hell, big nice building and mod friendly because of an advisor that made it possible since he has a 2016 WRX. so thumbs up to Ramsey
