Well, new season is here and 1st event out of the way.
Not a great deal to report over the winter. I put a new dccd controller in (Mapdccd) and a 1.5 way Kazz rear diff. Other than that the car is pretty much as it was. Finished 4th at Castle Combe. 0.5s behind 3rd and 0.7s behind 2nd. Tbh it was quite a disappointing weekend. My brakes weren't great so it's time for a new pedal box. The OBP one in the car has never been much good and it's time to bite the bullet and bin it for ? a Tilton one. I managed to completely destroy a front shaft on my first launch which meant I missed the entire morning of practice and then in the afternoon the starter motor packed in. Otherwise it was'nt so bad The car definitely feels more stable with the new diff and dccd controller so hopefully if i can get the brakes working properly and turn the power up a bit that will help. You can follow my progress here if you'd like https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rhode...22706967772061 and a few pics and a video from the weekend. Cheers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KWp...er&app=desktop
