Odd. I thought the GTi was supposed to be pretty decent on that sort of road.

Can you describe where it's falling short of your STi's capabilities?

My Fiance and I are 36 and 30. We both have 2016 WRXs. Actually part of the story to how we met.
Mine is silver and Stage 2 with some other engine mods like EBCS, tvg/egr deletes, CAI.
Hers is black and still totally stock. Neither of ours have had any external mods.
Most fun car I have ever owned without a doubt. It also has been the most reliable even with the mods.

I was 25 when I bought my 07 WRX in 2011. Bought a LGT Spec B when I was 28. Haven't had a Subaru in a few years, currently have a supercharged 2015 Audi A6, but really miss a manual transmission. Selling it between now and next year. Waiting to see what the next gen WRX looks like, and then will decide between that or a Golf R. Sadly, those are the only AWD manual options out there.

Bought my 2014 WRX new, many upgrades later I'm 41 and have a ragged out beast with built motor, FP Green turbo etc with an external wastegate pushing a little over 400 to the wheels. And the PPG gears that whine wherever I go and I love it. Especially dropping a gear or two and letting the wastegate vent to atmosphere as I blow by slow drivers hogging the fast lane in a clueless zombie daze. Should I have an Audi, BMW or Mercedes if I wanted non American sports car at this age? Probably. But I've never been one to adhere to the more trivial demands others project. Screw em

46 with a pearl white 2017 WRX. Only exterior mods have been to change out all chrome badging for black and white, and the c-light add with headlight blackout. Stg 1 with a TP etune.

I'm 34 just bought series.white STi, coming from a 911. Just can't beat the fun factor, value and unique-ness (?) of a Subie. Loving it.

40 years young with a 2015 wrx. I've been stuck in my mid-20's for a long time. haha.

Blew a ringland end of last year and chose to do a built motor. It was fun doing the shopping for the parts with my tuner - felt like a kid at the toy store. got to learn a lot, too, throughout the process. She's currently making ~400 at the wheels.

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)
38 I own a 03 wrx wagon blue not much mods exterior l like the clean sleek look, all emblems off, turned my rear key hole int a rear view camera l, black euro front headlights. Lowered 1.5” in the front 1” in the rear.

I'm 42 and I got my 2016 WRX 5 years ago. Learned to drive manual on it and thank the lawd that the clutch is still in one piece and going strong after 45k.

Picked up the COBB AP last year and did the OTS stage 1 tune. Installed the Q300 exhaust and picked up the catted COBB j-pipe. Hoping to install that in the next few weeks and go stage 2.
