I'm 35, and have a 2012 WRX that I bought brand new. Current mods are an axle-back delete, GFB recirc valve, GrimmSpeed EBCS, and AEM 3.5 bar MAP sensor. Will be installing a full turbo back soon, and converting to speed density.

42 with a 2013 hatch here. I stopped buying Hondas and explored Subarus for something different. I can't say I like the roughness of the WRX over the more plush Honda rides, but the AWD and turbo make up for it.

Alex, 34 yo

P.S.
Is it normal to smell engine oil through the air conditioning?
My manual says that oil consumption is normal in my 2020 impreza but being my first car I'm a bit unsure of what that means.

Sometimes I'll be driving at highway speeds and I'll notice a weird but distinct slightly burning smell. I've come to realise it smells like my engine oil. I cant think of anything else that would smell like that, especially when I'm on a highway in the middle of nowhere

It only lasts a couple of seconds or so, and happens maybe a handful of times per week. I dont notice my engine levels going down much, and I check every week.
https://toppornsites.me
My car is 2 months old and at 5000 km, and even if oil consumption is supposed to be normal, does that include smelling it in the air blowing through my cabin vents ?

You're still at pretty low mileage so I'd wait to see if it's just something breaking in. If you check your rearview while it's happening, do you see excessive smoke/exhaust? Visually inspecting your engine bay, do you see oil anywhere it shouldn't be?

Could be something dumb too, once I was getting nervous cause I'd smell burning pretty often. Turns out there was a plastic bag stuck to my exhaust.

30 yrs old, 2011 STi Limited. Built motor running a rotated precision 6062; 24psi; makes 495hp on the British equivalent of a mustang dyno. Had my car transported over here when I moved to the UK for work 3.5 years ago and had my current motor built here.

I would if people didn't ask $7000 for a 15 year old one with 200k in it that was also rolled and caught on fire. "I know what I have" yeah, okay buddy.

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)

30 year old with. 2016 sti.

41 15 sti, coming from a c6 supercharged vette this was quite a change. Honestly more fun to drive than the vette. Currently in the building longblock.

Before engine issues 340whp on e85 mustang dyno. Must... go.... faster!!!!
