Does anyone have part number for the gasket of the metal coolant expansion tank that bolts to the intake manifold?

Sorry, very late... but here they are

Translation:

Version D/E models with EJ20G, 20K or 22G engines have 3 types of gasket available.
At the time of changing the gaskets, check the type of the gasket and then order.

Type A
RH 13270AA062 (gasket), 13264AA131 (cover)
LH 13272AA063 (gasket), 13278AA111 (cover)

Type B
RH 13270AA082 (gasket), 13264AA160 (cover)
LH 13272AA082 (gasket), 13278AA140 (cover)

Type C
RH 13270AA111 (gasket), 13264AA190 (cover)
LH 13272AA110 (gasket), 13278AA170 (cover)

----------------------------------------------------------

Sadly, I don't remember which one was mine; not that that would of helped you last year.

edit** Looking at my pictures from my rebuild, I see that mine were Type A.

I'm pretty sure they don't sell that separately. I couldn't find any reference to it online and couldn't find it on any diagram. You just have to buy the whole tank

/\ You're correct, I was excited when he posted the part number because I was at work and didn't realize it was the tank part number. It's a shame, because the metal tanks are really nice. I may have to just fork out the money for a new plastic tank instead of gluing the two together. I don't want to risk any leaking with the new sleeved block.

I'm going to buy a new one piece plastic, shouldn't get brittle for a long time and I don't want to risk a leak with the new engine. It will be tough enough keeping the coolant from leaking around the edge of hoses. I may use a different brand of coolant, since the Toyota pink seems to find every microscopic pore to leak from. Honda coolant may be the choice this time.

Thank you!!

Also looking for an o2 sensor. I've read the Bosch 15726 would work, but I rather have a non universal sensor.

Hey guys, been strongly considering buying a 93 jdm wrx. Wondering if you can all help me.

little run down on the car;

was a running and driving wrx about a year ago. The previous owner pulled the motor due to low compression and at the time wanted to clean up the wiring in the engine bay. He got the motor rebuilt, and sold the motor. Now has the wiring all out of the engine bay. He has a 94 wrx wiring harness that he was planning on putting back in as it needed very minor repair opposed to the one he originally took out. But he did have the car running a ej20g with the crappy harness he had in originally.

So now i am contempleting buying this mint wrx.. Thing is im not to sure what ej20g motor will work in the car. Will any ej20g work? Does it need to be a specifc year, model ect? Is there anything else i should consider looking into before i pick up the car? ecu?

Its a very good deal for the car i feel as it has alot of potential to be awesome again, he only wants 900 for the car, has everything else besides the motor, that includes the transmission (unsure of which one though).

Thank you all!

Start your own thread. This one is for part numbers, not "Should I buy this car?" questions.

Looking for the correct part number for the front o2 sensor for a 1993 WRX Type-RA. I thought I had found the correct part, but the three-pin connector doesn't match the 4-pin connector on my engine harness.

HELP!

If you don't have the JDM Subaru parts software, I recommend partsouq.com. You can enter your Japanese VIN (gc8-05###1) and it will pull up the parts for your vehicle.

I've been using this site for my current RHD Honda Element and for my RHD BP5 2.0GTspecB that's coming soon. Works for USDM and EDM cars as well.

https://jp-carparts.com/subaru/partl...004&fig_id=035

it shows three different part numbers for 1996;X2111AA040, 1997;X2111AA041, 1998;X2111AA042 but they're all the same just superseded each other .

When that part number is plugged into subaru, the newest USDM part number replacement for it is 21111AA065.

Price is $84 before shipping http://www.heubergersubaruparts.com/...21111aa065.htm . Amazon doesnt have the pump from what i can see

Hey, all.
I bought this GC8 half-cut with an EJ20G, and i'm wondering if there's an internet resource to buy the gaskets and other rebuild stuff for the JDM engine.

All my familiar internet resources don't seem to have kits for the EJ20g that i can find.

Also, i heard that 02-05 WRX head gaskets will work on the EJ20G, is that true? And if so, what other gaskets can translate over to the EJ20G from US motors?

Any help is appreciated.

Anyone have numbers for Intake and Exhaust valves for a 1995 V1 STI RA? Bent valves in Cyl 3 and in abit of a bind. Seem to be having a hard time finding any accurate information on this Gen RA specifically.

Most things to do with your heads will cross reference the same as a EJ25D gasket wise

part number is 12033AA730.
doesn't appear to be listed compatible with any USDM models
this assumes you are using the EJ20K pistons
