Unhappy Bad deals in group buy forum? whats with that?

two of the group buys in there RIGHT NOW have prices higher than what can be found VERY easily. Whats with that?
One is selling something for 50 bucks more than THE EXACT SAME ITEM on ebay.(I know they are the same because I have seen the ebay ones in person) Why pay close to 200 for something that is only 149 on ebay, from a respectable seller?????
There is another Group buy in there that is has prices higher than 2 or 3 places I have seen.

Im not going to go into specifics, because that wold be unfair to the vendor, but *** man? I mean I could jjst buy a bunch of this thing off ebay, then post a group buy at 40-50 bucks more and make a ton of money for myself? Thats not cool in the least.

Well, for starters, stuff is always cheaper on Ebay because there's an element of risk involved. Not that there's no risk here, but it's considerably less.

But, I believe the way the Vendor stuff works here now is that a vendor needs to pay I-Club in order to sell their wares. So, it's quite possible that Vendor A sells part B for less than Vendor C, but only Vendor C has paid dues to I-Club so vendor A can't advertise here. You get the picture.

Dat's the way it is.

how do you guys search for stuff on ebay? Everytime I do a search I either get hundreds of hits (ie searching for WRX) or I get none...how can I get useful hits?

Thanks

r u sure ebay is cheaper? u may have been lookin at the bid price and not the actual price, just because the bid says 149 doesnt mean its selling for 149, all that means is that the highest bid is 149, but if u r lookin at the actual price its prolly because its a private seller

Default not a private seller, and

its 149 buy it now. Its a vendor with a TON of positive feedback. Same thing with the other item I am speaking of. And these arent the first things I have noticed this with.
