Which VIS hood do you have? I've got a template for the one I made for mine.

Yo, Reverend, what’d you buy from Primitive? I know it’s not related but always interested in what people bought from Paul.

Default VIS Racing Shroud

Hey! I have a VIS Racing “Tracer” on my 2011 STI and I’d love to do something like this if possible. Do you have a write up anywhere? Thanks!

Bringing this thread back to life. Just picked up a Seibon CW CF hood for my 2020 STI. Did anyone come up with a solution for the air duct/splitter?

I don't know the dimensions of the Seibon hood. You'd likely need to go through the same process I did to make a template and build a custom one.

I'm looking to do the same for a Seibon VS Style hood to the stock STI intercooler. Did you guys have a template available?

A few more things to adjust, then it's gonna get ceramic coated and get a fitted rubber gasket around the edges to seal it up nicely. Pretty pleased with the progress and fitment so far.

Might even be able to reproduce these when we get all the measurements right. Not sure how it'll fit with other aftermarket hoods.
PM sent - I need one!

Why not use CF/Aramid ? Lighter, easy to work with

I'm in the same boat, with the same hood. any luck? don't plan on going front mount and I love how the hood looks.
