Default Coolant leak *HELP*

so my 07 Impreza is leaking coolant, what a surprise right? head gaskets were done about 2k miles ago along with water pump and timing belt. I found a very small pool of coolant on the top of the engine on the passenger side however I can not locate the leak. It doesn't leak when the car idles, however when I drive it I usually lose 3/4 of the coolant in my reservoir...I've been refilling it but it seems pointless as I just continue to waste coolant. No hoses on the top or bottom of the engine appear to be leaking and the radiator appears to be fine- I'm stumped on this one any help would be appreciated.

I would guess its a leak around your coolant overflow side... its most likely only dumping when the fans come on because thats when the thermostat opens.. check that your fan didnt punch a hole in your radiator hose

Default Coolant Leak

Get a radiator pressure tester (you can rent them at an auto parts store) and get a light n take a look at the throttle body and coolant lines, they can be damaged when they are taken off. Check the coolant crossover pipe, there are two o rings on it that can fail.

Check the PCV hoses under and around the coolant expansion tank. Just replaced mine because I had the same issue of coolant leaking out one of them. They get old and dried out over time. And where they bend at a 90 degree is usually where they will start leaking. I went with the mishimoto ancillary hose kit..fixed the problem
