Default Turbo sti converted to open deck naturally aspirated ej25

I have a 2004 wrx sti blown motor of course. I have an open deck ej25. I want to swap the heads on the open deck and put it in my sti just to get it running and reliable until I can put some money into it. Could I just put a wrx ecu in and call it good?

Simply, no, not at all. STI has too many difference to be worth all the wire harness changing, etc. Go with the correct ECU.
