Stock Ride Height Measurement - 2015+ STI
I searched and can't find this info anywhere. Anyone have the front and rear fender to ground measurements a stock 2015+ STI?

I don't find it in the manual. They can be downloaded from Subaru's site easily and searched. Closest thing is overall height and ground clearance. I suppose the overall height could be used, then measure your own car and compare.

Trying to find stock height for original reference starting point. I have had a few different sets of aftermarket springs (RCS yellow and black) on the car and lost track of stock height. I just installed coilovers and want to verify what a 1" drop from stock would be.

this is according to Gogle, and the 4.9" came from the manual. therefore, i am assuming it is the stock measurement |

Anyway, reason I am asking for stock fender to ground height is because it is a easy measurement and accounts for front and rear difference. |

What you're looking for will be in the factory shop manual. And it will probably be defined from the axle center rather than the ground. That takes differences in tire diameter out of the equation.
Looking at the 2018 FSM for the STi, the front wheel arch height measured that way is 370 mm, and the rear wheel arch height is 362 mm. Both of those numbers have rather generous tolerances listed (+12mm / -24mm). It's on the alignment specifications page. I don't expect the 2016 to be different, but you should probably check to be sure. Norm Last edited by Norm Peterson; 12-08-2019 at 08:54 AM. |
