Has anyone made their own post MAF hose?
I refuse to pay 70 bucks for a piece of silicone pipe 6inches long, unfortunately I need one so that I can put on a Perrin turbo inlet. I got one of the eBay ones and the material quality was nice but it doesn’t match up to my Perrin inlet. Have any of you done Made a post MAF hose with stuff from a hardware store or maybe had on made at a hydraulic shop. I should also add that it’s the diameter that is off the eBay piece is spot on 3in and the Perrin is just under 3in

The stock after MAF hose works with the Perrin inlets, assuming you have the plastic or metal coupler that comes with the inlet, just an FYI.

You gotta pay to play, besides... do you really want something that looks “crafted” under your engine bay? I have a Perrin inlet and afta maf hose hooked up to my stock airbox. The oem afta maf hose fits just fine too.
But i do agree, 80$ for a silicone piece is pretty steep, but it does look nice. |

I dont quite understand what you are looking for, is the turbo inlet made of metal or is it silicon? if it is a hard one, there is a little bit of an offset to it and that might be why it is so high, price wise. I would like to see what your home made after maf hoselooks like if you wouldn't mind.

On second thought... get yourself one of those dryer hoses, you know, the ones that can stretch. Tie it up with zip ties. That silver chrome under the hood would make it “Pop” chu know what I’m sayin? Sharpie Perrin on the ridges and shut the hood.
