I haven't driven my car in 6 weeks...
I feel bad too. My clutch went out completely and the car won't go into gear anymore unless it is off. I ordered a clutch to install one weekend and the place didn't ship it out til friday when I had ordered it earlier in the week so I didn't get it til monday. Then the next weekend I was out of town. Then for the next 3 weekends I had mono. And last weekend we worked on my friends car. I just miss driving. This is the longest I've gone since I started driving where I haven't had a car to drive. Does anyone else feel bad when they don't get to drive their car for a while? |

yeah. It's been so long, that I had to plug my car into a charger last night, cause the battery was down to 5 volts
Well, time and a mild electrical drain. I'm in between jobs and gas is sort of a luxury item : / |

I dropped my car off at my friends shop for a weeks storage, when the battery light went on the dash on the way there.
They figured out it was the alternator, which is a PITA to get to in the MR2, so they dropped the exhaust and crossmember (both of which needes to be replaced). Alternator is in, cross member is in. The used DP needed some fabing/modding so it's being worked on right now. The shop's main mechanic went to Asia for 3 weeks, so my car got pushed to low low priority. He's back as of yesterday, and I'm suspossed to have my car back this week. It's been 6 weeks for me too. . . luckily, i've got a daily driver for the winter that I've been driving |

I work with some friends, so they take me to work.
That's really all I do. While I was sick it wasn't bad because I didn't go anywhere. But now I get really bored. Whats worse is that I was getting ready to put in a new transmission and new clutch the day I got sick. It'll only take around 3-4 hours to do it too. Just can't get the time during the week. |
