Anybody know the correct part number for the AVCS solenoid O-rings?
My car is leaking either from the cam sensors or the AVCS solenoid.
Its not leaking much but it is for sure coming from one of these two spots.
If I remember correctly there wasn't any o-rings on the cam sensors, they just sit in the holes.
Thanks.

I just put together a big list of seal part numbers for the 2.0, 2.5, and dual avcs motors, any interest in a new version of this thread?

Hey guys, what is this gasket for? I am building a 2.12l EJ205 and haven't yanked the motor yet, so I haven't seen this one before.

Hahaha! I never would have even thought of the oil cap. I've had a Prodrive one for 6 years.

Thanks!

I also didn't realize this. Now I have a use for the three or four left over from engine builds.

looking for these pics as well. I have an engine gasket kit, but the 4 black ones that fit don't appear to fit perfect. Also, looking for pics of gasket that fit on AVCS cam seal cap.

Shoot me a PM and I can get you pics and part numbers tomorrow

Most of the orings don't fit perfectly and are a bit large

I've got one out in the garage I'm trying to piece together. I'll try and get new pics but I'm lost with all the O-rings. the kit I have is for a 08+.

Here's whats left of my gasket kit, Outfront built the block so they used the rear main and the case half O-rings. I already put on the oil pump crank seal too. Head Gaskets are Cometic but stock ones should be included.

Intake manifold gaskets

Intercooler, Header/ Exhaust, and Oil pump - O-ring looks like 2 o-rings connected within each other (minus oil pump crank seal)

Water pump, Oil pan (rear drain tube o-ring has a channel around it (not sure which side face up), and Misc

Valve seals (Black=Intake, Green=Exhaust), Cam seals, Valve cover gaskets, and crush washers for turbo oil feed and water lines and AVCS Solenoids

Timing covers, 7x o-rings go to rear covers where it bolts to the heads and block, Long rubber seals are for the center cover, and Foam trim sticks to the back of the covers.

Unknowns, Rear main is big and brown and like a cam seal (my last kit had 3x), Oil pump crank seal is smaller than the cam seals and brown (should be the only one that fits in the pump)
Labeled O-rings A-F, if they can be identified I'll update it next to the letters:
A) (2x)
B) (2x)
C)
D)
E)
F) (2x)

Good info in this thread, thanks for posting those pictures since the originals are missing.

Speaking of missing, this kit doesn't include the aluminum washers to seal the various plugs that go into the short block. Does anyone know specifically what is needed for these, and what the part numbers are?

edit: found my answer:

(6x) 0370S*B - part number 037018200
(2x) 0370S*A - part number 037010200
(3x) wrist pin access hole washers - part number 803928010
Large Coolant Plug on bottom drivers side of motor does not use a washer, pass side coolant port in block next to oil cooler also does not use a washer

Can anyone ID the following from an 07 STi gasket kit? I was able to ID the others using the photos in the thread but havent confirmed these. Looking to confirm 100% so please only respond with info if you're positive!
(I grouped and bagged these for easy reference, they all came in one big bag together).

I'm tearing down my engine due to a cylinder 2 misfire I can't seem to fix. While it's apart, I'll be installing the VF39, and sti downpipe. Will the STI 10105AA590 gasket kit work for my 06 wrx with the upgrades?

Thank you!
