just wondering...i am about to buy a 1998 legacy L wagon and i was wondering if the 1998 legacy GT wagon's hood can be swapped out with out any major adjustments.
thanks and if this has already been addressed i am sorry. i looked. jason

bolt-on, you shouldn't have any problems.

Yup no problems, did it myself on a 95L, just order the parts from like a 97 or so and when you get them if you're ordering them from somewhere make sure you get the actual scoop piece too because its seperate from the hood.

Yeah mine was about 350ish from the dealer. Theres always JDM turbo ones on ebay for really cheap though. Just pick one of those up.

i'm gonna try to find one from a junkyard, i'm sure it would be cheaper than that, along with a set of alloys.
i'll let you guys know when that happens and post some picks. jason |

on quick question though, was the one you bought from the dealer already painted?
if so, then it would be worth the 350! jason |
