That was some fun, Revision. Thanks for posting those. Kevin |

Reddy Heater from Home Depot. $150
Get this 60,000 BTU which is more than 2 times what I need for the garage. This weekend, when it was 5 degrees out on Saturday, it was toasty in the garage within 15 minutes or so. The only downside is that it is very loud (something about having a 2 foot flame inside of a metal tube ) and it does stink up the joint a bit. I need to get the optional thermostat - we ended up leaving it on for 10 minutes at a time and only needed sweatshirts. You guys all owe me, since I finally bought a heater you know spring will arrive early this year. [This message has been edited by rao (edited February 19, 2001).] |

Kerosene or Propane?
Kevin has his DMS suspension so... --- We had a 35000 btu "torpedo" kerosene heater for the dent pulling party, so we have an idea of how loud and smelly they are. [This message has been edited by Revision (edited February 19, 2001).] |
