30psi I should definitely be over 600whp but the tune is conservative at 570whp with low timing

Jorge pushes >600whp at 30psi when using E85/C16 since he has more leeway to run more timing

Hey sorry, I did not seem to sound negative. Your build is a nice one and well sorted out from the looks of it!

When you say conservative timing what are you talking about at peak torque and red line. You've got to figure that this turbo will make at least 25-30 whp/ lb. of boost when it's in it's efficiency range of 25+psi.

I can't wait to get an Outfront closed deck and push 37psi through this turbo

^^^I guess i need to be more clear. What is the timing at peak torque and at red line? I know Jorge is a very good tuner, no question there! I also have fairly conservative timing on my maps as does 05_wRex and others on here. What is conservative from a timing standpoint?

Good luck with that! I have a hard time finding room for a 4th gear pulls, my redline is around 140! I just do 3rd gear pulls and those are 110-115.

Bottom line is this build should be making way more power at 30psi and way sooner! This car had more boost with the Cosworth.
Also worth noting, all the places the cossie makes less than the stock manifold, the boost pressure is actually lower as well because of the bigger runners/plenum.

No doubt if you put boost on equal terms the cossie wouldnt be far off at all on the stock for spool like you said. and top end should be huge on big turbo cars...80 plus whp on 67mm or bigger

At 37psi I doubt your car will be reliable.

Nice car!

Long term followup:

40,000 miles daily driven with this setup. Motor got hit with the fuel pump failure but the Manley components took it like a champ and recovered apparently

Had the car strapped to the dyno as an annual cardiac stress test in November 2014:

Still pumpin' out great numbers

IAG BUILT

Sure there are lots of Subaru shops out there, but to aptly quote Meek Mill - there's [sic] levels to this ****

It sees multiple redlines up to 120mph on familiar roads with great visibility and minimal traffic daily (check my youtube channel bro http://www.youtube.com/user/user1029/videos)...if only I can stream my daily commute.

Multiple redlines a day for 730 days with mixed highway street driving/heat cycles vs. few track sessions which one is more taxing on the motor?

Love it!! I'm glad to see more guys enjoying these things long term.

If you canned the guys that cant actually build them and had quality guys like IAG doing it, subies wouldn't have such a bad rap.

you my friend are my hero, I have 65K on my stock block. Rotated gtx 3076 with a ETS TMIC .

I am hoping to get 100k before she needs a short block, daily driven sees 17lbs at least once a day, But I don't load the car up down low and I get gas at one place consistently, oil changes every 3k

Would you mind posting a plot of your ignition timing on top of the hp/tq plot?
