gs catted downpipe ceramic coated
Speaking of grimmspeed, Ordered a catted ceramic DP for my fxt sh. been impressed since i had it installed last year. Lately, have been hearing a rattling sound from inside the DP. Already referred the matter to RSD for assistance. Haven't had the time to have the DP REMOVED for further check. Any of you guys might have experienced the same issue, will appreciate your advise for a quick fix. Only thing I'm sure are all bolts holding the entire pipe are tight, when i had the car lifted, positive that there's somewhat a small metal inside rattling between the dp and cat.

Great company with great people that produce great products.
Story Follows: I have some GrimmSpeed stuff on my 13 WRX - Catted Downpipe (which is such an awesome piece of metal btw - excellent quality and fitment), TMIC, License Plate Relocator. I am going E85 on the 22nd so I recently purchased some 1000cc injectors, a fuel pump, and a USED GrimmSpeed EBCS. The EBCS I bought from a guy on the forums and although it looks to be in fine shape it has the wrong bracket on it for my application. I filled out a customer contact request form from the GrimmSpeed website basically just explaining that I bought a USED EBCS (I made it clear that it was used in my request form) and that I would like to purchase a new bracket. I was contact by Art Petrakov from GrimmSpeed and he told me that usually the price is $15 plus shipping - but that if I posted some pictures of the GrimmSpeed goodies in my engine bay he would send me one gratis. I made a silly mashup picture, posted it on facebook, and shortly after recieved shipping notification and a bill of sale for $0 from Justin Grimm. Talk about epic product support. Art and Grimmspeed hooked me up, knowing I had a used product - simply because they place value on customer/product support. This is why I will continue to buy GrimmSpeed products whenever the item I need has a GrimmSpeed option. Thanks. |

All my parts would be made by GS,... if they made all those parts. However the parts they do make, I own and I always be impressed. What I most like about GS is not just their products when they are finished but the R&D they put into them and share with the community before they're made. Unlike some brands who just kind of copy products with no data, GS always provides tons of great information into the product and the results.

Grimmspeed intake is on the way for my 2016 WRX! I'm really happy with the service. I was immediately updated about a delay with my order and was promptly advised once the item shipped. I really appreciate not having to reach out to the vendor for information first. Can't wait to install the intake with my Grimmspeed EBCS!

Props to GrimmSpeed! I have always liked their parts and their customer service, and again just recently, they have come through for me and my 2004 Forester STI conversion. I have the GrimmSpeed PnP Ceramic coated manifolds, crosspipe, and uppipe (among a list of a lot of other stuff).
About a month ago I started to hear a "pfft pfft pfft" sound out the front while the car was running. I got underneath and immediately realized I had an exhaust leak. So I thought it was one of the gaskets, and I went and bought new ones. I went to the auto-hobby shop and put it up on a lift and that's when I realized it was the flex joint that had failed. I had been running this set up since 2011 and it had approximately 30k miles on it. I went to RallySportDirects website and was looking to see how much it would run to replace the pipe and noticed the write up saying the crosspipe had been improved. So I asked if it was different enough that I would have to get my car retuned after installing. GrimmSpeed, with their excellent customer service, reached out to me and asked a few questions, and requested a few items, and then said they would be shipping me out a new crosspipe and a return label for the old one! So now my Forester is running healthy again! Thank you again GrimmSpeed! |

no one does customer service like Grimmspeed
I've always loved their products, and recently when my engine blew (sadly) I decided to switch directions from hybrid engine to an ej207. Well the shop that performed the swap misplaced my phenolic spacers, but then found them a week later without the hardware needed for the 8mm version. Emailed the good guys at Grimmspeed and they set me up with 2 sets of the extended bolts I needed (an extra set for my friend). Thanks guys, specifically Andy that helped me with the order.
Edit: I am adding this to my review, after having the package marked as "Delivered" by USPS, they never actually delivered my order. So I setup a claim but this happens very often with USPS having packages delivered to me here at my apartment complex, so I have no faith in them. Anyways I emailed Andy again and he went ahead and sent out another order right away, this time using FedEx (who makes deliveries right to my doorway). He's been super helpful and I can't thank him enough. Last edited by Amiyaku; 11-25-2015 at 03:55 PM. |

I cannot say enough about how awesome Grimmspeed is. I've had my WRX for a little over a year and had my first experience with them when I ordered their downpipe from Rallysport Direct (another fantastic comapny). I just had an experience when I ordered the Intake for my car 2 months ago. The filter had torn between the clamp and the bottom of the filter. Called Grimmspeed, spoke to Andy, sent him a picture and the invoice from RS direct, and got a tracking number within the hour for a new filter. Cannot beat the customer service from these guys. Thank you Andy!

Tmic
I ordered the tmic for my 2013 subaru wrx on Black Friday and it was delivered the next Wednesday! It's just amazing that even with amazing sales and large numbers of sales I was able to save 300 dollars, get free shipping, and receive it in less than a week. Got a new GS fan for life!

After looking into many different options I decided to go with Grimmspeeds Hella Horn Kit. Their bracket is top notch and is a universal fit for all sti models, the wiring harness is INCREDIBLE (The best one on the market) and the shipping was fast! For the first time ever I received something damaged.. One of the horns had gotten damaged during shipping and after contacting grimmspeed via email through Art Petrakov, they resolved everything incredibly fast. They are selfless and remedied the situation by sending me a replacement pair and had a return shipping label to top everything off. This company is incredible and I am looking forward to continue purchasing their products for all my subie needs! Thanks again Art!

Does anybody have a video with the 2015+ Stealthbox CAI installed on their car? I would like to hear how it sounds and get any feedback on you like it so far. I have mine from the groupbuy just sitting in my closet awaiting a couple more parts before installing and getting my car tuned. Thanks!
I will also add that all of the parts appear to be very well made and the ordering process was very smooth on the group buy. Last edited by PRW_WRX15; 01-13-2016 at 01:15 PM. Reason: Realized that I posted this in Vendor Reviews sub-forum |

Had to pop in to leave another glowing review of Grimmspeed...these guys are doing everything right, awesome products and customer service that seems like an anomaly in this day and age.
Today's experience: My dumb ass orders a factory second pulley in an attempt to save a whopping $30 (after already dumping >$8K into my 2016 with <2000 miles on it). Well, it shows up perhaps a little more battered than I was expecting even for a second (had a large gauge/protuding piece of metal on the rim that would definitely have to be filed down to prevent damage upon belt installation). Probably overall a little more chipped up than I was expecting from the factory second description, but hey they don't make any bones about it NOT being a brand new part. So rather sheepishly I email them last night just asking if this was normal level of damage even for a second, and offering to pay the extra (and shipping) to exchange for a new one. Art calls me this morning, after a very polite discussion he offers to dig through the pulleys, and offers to send me a different factory second that he says basically looks like a new one at no charge, plus a prepaid return label for the chipped one. I actually feel guilty...I tried to save $30 and they bend over backward likely losing some money on the sale to try and correct what is certainly at least partially my mistake. I understand these experiences are typical of how they do business, and their products are awesome to boot. Glad I bought their top of the line DP a few weeks ago too, and it won't be the last GS product I buy, for sure. Thanks again! |
