Default 2015 impreza E-brake dashboard

Hey all. Thanks in advance, this site has been great for me tinkering around with my car.

I replaced the stock head unit on my 15 impreza recently with a Kenwood DDX276BT. I got everything hooked up and working but now I realized that my brake light on the dashboard is on. It only turns off when I put the car in reverse. This wasn't an issue before replacing the head unit, so I def think I wired something up wrong. I bought the unit from Crutchfield but talking to them today they were not very helpful.
Also, to be safe I replaced the brake pads and rotors and checked my brake fluid.

Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

If you installed the brake bypass incorrectly it might be causing that.
