Default Car wont build boost

Hey guys subie newbie here I bought an 04 blob eye with this issue and cant sort it out.
Ok so car runs completely fine pre boost as soon as it gets into boost the car falls on its face and spit out black smoke it will hit about 3psi then shutters bad if I stay in the gas it will build to abput 7psi tons of work done recently plugs ngk copper gapped at .30,coilpacks, fuel pressure regulator, new turbo inlet, used td04, new downstream 02, new fuel filter,
Mods list
Perrin uppipe
Cobb downpipe
AEM intake
Cobb ap v3
Cheap catback
Aftermarket radiator
Aftermarket turboinlet
Tein lowering springs
All new grimspeed couplers
Grimspeed y pipe <back of intercooler>
I'm really stumped on this any information is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Check exhaust parts. Uppipe could be cracked. Turbo could be toast.

Swaped a used turbo on same issues

But is the turbo spinning and have little work no play, when you installed it ?

take the wastegate vacuum line off and see if it boosts okay, if it does, then you problemn is the ebcs.. make sure you dont over boost

Get a OEM replacement unless your going to do a tune with a 3 port. As the 3 post is not safe to boost on until they are tuned. I might have an OEM for an 02. Realize they are different for different years. The plug is different.

Could be wastegate. When I got my 02 I couldn’t boost more then 5psi and it would fall on its face at 4500rpm put a new turbo on and the issue was gone

see if you have a exhaust leak somewhere. look for black soot on the pipe. also do a boost pressure test on your system.
