Default How much sleep did you get last night?

Myself, about 6 hours. I've been getting 6-7 a night for just over a month, and at this point, its really starting to get to me.

Just curious how all you otters sleep... I think I truly need 8 hours to function properly, but it doesn't seem to take that much for everybody.

Lack of options. Last night, I slept about 3 hours. On average, I sleep 4-5 hours.

i've been getting anywhere from 5-6 hours of sleep per night during the week and it's just enough to keep my functioning at work during the day.

usually it's hard for me to initially fall asleep since my mind is always racing, but once i fall asleep then i have the trouble of waking up a few times during the night for no reason. but whatever, i deal with it however i can.

on the weekends i really catch up on good sleep and will sleep in a couple extra hours past my usual 615/630 workday wakeup... depending how early/late i go to bed.

hell i'm just too young to go to bed early. i used to go about 10/11 tops now it's more like 12/1... not even that i'm out partying, i just have a lot to keep my occupied around the house.

here's the secret. i can easily function on 4-5 hours a night during the week. it allows me to have the leisure time that i want during weeknight evenings and keeps my sane. on the weekends, i usually crash for 8-9 hours a night to catch up on sleep. even 3 hours sleep is ok for 1 or 2 nights in a row, but if i go all week at 3-4 hours, i'm exhausted by friday. the key is moderation (and the occasional 30 min cat nap ).

I have slept rather poorly for the past couple of weeks. Finally last night I got a good 8 hours (11 - 7) of uninterupted sleep.

what's funny is that sometimes when i have the ability to just sleep in, i'll tend to wake up in the 4-5 hour mark out of habit.

well said... thats how its been for me too. Though age is now starting to catch up with me. Some of those weekend nights are turning into 12-13 hour hibernations, and suddenly the alarm clock isn't going off as much during the week as it should.

I probably got to sleep a bit before midnight last night, got up around 6.

****ing neighbor's dog wouldn't quit barking. I fell asleep half dreaming I had a tranquilizer gun to shoot it with.

Don't worry.. Secrets safe with me. Honestly, I havent been taking any naps, sleeping during the weekends, even. Maybe I'll give that a shot.

I need 7-8 sometimes 8-9 if I'm doing lots of training, but that is when I'm cycling like 20 hours a week.

When I just did resistance training for a couple of months I could get by on less.

6 hours for me. I got home late and had a nightmare about werewolves that kept me up for quite some time.
