Default Some interesting facts about the SWRT car

I was reading in the motorsport section of Prodrive.com about the specs for the S9 version of the SWRT Impreza WRC.
The one thing that blew me away that the cars engine has been tuned to run a boost pressure of 3.5 bar @ 2500rpm. After checking on boost pressure conversions on northursalia.com
my rough calculations equals about 50 lbs of boost @ 2500rpm!!!!
(My calculations: 1bar=14.5lbs, therefore 3.5bar=50lbs)
There alot of interesting info if your were going to buy a Group N or WRC car from them.

You missed the "3bar absolute" wich works out to ~29psi above atmospheric. I think.
Just to let you know that they are not running 50psi. If the info in that article is corect.

200bhp at idle? Awesome. That car has some amazing technology in it, especially that intercooler. The anti lag system must burn through fuel like crazy though.
