Default Have to repair a coilover, what do I do with the car?

Bought a used 05 STI with KW v1 coilovers. One of the rear coilovers is completely blown on the seals with all the fluid leaked out of it. I'm told it's fine to drive on the street as is, it'll just be noisy (as I've noticed). I still want to get it replaced, but I don't know what to do with the car while the coilover is removed for the 1-4 week turnaround time it may have. I don't have the stock suspension with me or an extra set of coilovers to drop in it.

Do I just keep the whole car on jack stands?

you can keep it on stands, or borrow / find a set of stocks or cheap coilovers to use in the interim

Hell how much is the rebuild?

Might be just easier to do what cdska says or just buy cheap new set

Those V1'ss aren't crazy expensive (saw $1300-$1500)
Which isn't expensive compared to top of the line Tien's or Ohlin's
If I had $3k-$5k coils would def re-build
Lower quality ones (like mine!) would just replace

Are you using a phone?

Something about the 'apostrophe' character doesn't seem to be translating very well.

Should I keep all 4 corners on jacks, just the two in the back or just the one?

I will likely get some RCE Tarmac Zeros or 2's to replace these, they just aren't in the budget, yet, unless they go on sale for Black Friday. With one coilover shot and them being on the car since 2007 for 80kish miles, it's probably worth just replacing them now.

Not a bad idea to just buy some cheapo ebay set or used stock setup just incase. Just got the car 1k miles ago (all those miles were from picking it up and driving it home).
