C0025,C0026 and C0057 on '13 WRX Hatch
Out of the blue my ABS, traction control and hill assist lights all came on. They would come and go randomly until a month went by and they stayed on permanently. I have replaced the brake light switch and adjusted it; no difference.
Codes are: -C0025 -C0026 -C0057 I tried a replacement ABS sensor on the PS rear and it made no difference. I also tried disconnecting the DS rear ABS sensor to see if I could replicate the problem and the only extra code the car threw was C0027 which then immediately disappeared when I reconnected the sensor. I dropped it off at a dealership and they had a couple master techs poking their heads around the car for 1 or 2 hours and figured the problem was further 'upstream' than the ABS sensor which seemed to be fine. They checked the sensor and the wiring up to the point at which it connected to the harness underneath the rear seats and found nothing out of the ordinary. They said that if I wanted them to really invest some time into it and find the problem that they suspected it could take upwards of 5 hours which is some fairly serious $$$. Also given the modifications done to the car (three AEM dash gauges, some deleted components and roughly Stage 2+), they reckoned that them finding the problem may even be impossible. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should look next?

Unfortunately this is the truth of modern automobiles. With the CAN electrical systems a problem with the controller or the wiring between components is very difficult to find. They are designed to work, not to be diagnosed when a failure occurs.
