Thanks, I appreciate it!

I honestly think the rear splash guards are mainly for appearance rather than functionality. I probably wouldn't have gotten them if they weren't already on the car. I think I would have opted for the black STI side & rear under spoilers instead.

That is a good point as well, thank you! I was looking at those and the Rally Armor mud guards too. Some people swear by them, I am not sold on them yet and I prefer to stay OEM as much as possible! If I get the black spoilers, knowing myself, I would probably want the sides as well, then the front lip as well to match!

The sides are unfortunately pretty pricey for what they are!

Crickey, they are indeed, I just checked the prices. OEM stuff, not cheap! I will give those OEM splash guards a shot and see how they look. I like them on your car, just worried about how many shades off the paint will be! CWP, painful to match. My rear bumper tow hook cover or whatever that is, that is like 4 shades off!

Finally, a new part! It should have come like this from the factory...

Alcantara Extended Armrest:

Not a perfect match color-wise for my OCD, but it's close enough. I'm sure it'll get closer as it gets dirty and wears some

Thanks man, I appreciate it. There's still a lot that I want to do, but you know priorities.. we bought a house this year, our first baby is due next month, and one of our dogs recently had an unexpected $6k surgery so the car is on the back burner for a while.

Still waiting to see some mods on your Type RA.. I expect to see the 2020 fog covers soon

The 2020 STI fog cover part #s are 57731VA500 (RH) & 57731VA510 (LH).
https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru__/...7731VA500.html
https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru__/...7731VA510.html

And here are the JDM LED versions:
https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/57324

I'm hoping that Subaru will sell the Series.White grille inserts separately rather than requiring you to purchase the entire front grille assembly. They may also be available through JapanParts since they're also on the EJ20 Final Edition.

Fuel cap looks good! Where did you get the overlays? eBay?

Armrest looks great too.

Thanks!

Rallysport Direct actually had the best price that I could find. JapanParts was cheaper, but shipping was more.

Hey Nick! I seen you may of had the opportunity to work on a s209 & if so I had a few questions regarding the intake. I have ordered a s209 intake for my Type RA (Pro Tune coming with much more) & was wondering if you possibly had pictures of the filter. Really interested in what you could tell me about the intake. Also you have great taste, your car looks great!

Nice man, but I opted for the '20 STi ones; I simply didn't want to do any wiring on an RA, there's also the small issue of being somewhat colorblind that wouldn't help my wiring cause either.

I think the '20 STi fog covers will clean the RA's front up a little. The '18 fog covers are just boring and seem like an afterthought. I was close to buying the STi ducts, but I don't like chrome on any level.

I couldn't agree more on the RA's fogs being bland.. ***129318;****9794;***65039; Now if I can figure out how to post pics I would send a personal message. From a oem look stand point, under the hood you could never tell. I soldered mine in & used oem wire heat shielding sheaths. By the way I have #186!

Awesome man, nice to see another RA owner around here!

I think with a couple of subtle and OEM mods the '18+ can look a lot better. I've still got a handful of mods I want to pick up, just been trying to avoid the mod bug on a car I told myself I would "leave alone".

There's a new way to host photos on Nasioc, I still need to give it a try myself!

I'm debating on ordering the JDM version since I would just need the covers themselves. The LED lights should transfer over. It would be ~$120.

Sorry, took a break from the forums for a bit. I don't have a picture of the inside of the intake, but it is a conical filter. Looking forward to seeing it on your Type RA!

Thanks! I have already ordered & love the Grimm Speed design but without the metal conductive parts in it. I did not order the filter though, it was $370ish dollars!?
