Nah, I love mine hehehe

I would suggest setting up an IG, you'd be amazed at how many ****ty builds are on there -- NASIOC builds stand out. As NASIOC continues to get less traffic... it's one of the only places left to talk en masse about Bugeye stuff

You would be surprised there is a very big international following for well put together bugeyes. There are some very well taken care of cars out there but there are also a ton of ****boxes dying for internet attention.

My school has been begging the teachers to join IG to follow their page, so I haven't been keen on setting up an account.
But since forums are going to go the way of the dinosaur, then it might just be the right time to get on it.

edit:
Setup an IG if anyone is interested.

Instagram is cool and all but the recent algorithms have absolutely destroyed any artists and creators, in favor of businesses and promotional posts. unfortunately there isn’t anything much better available still.

IG FB twit are walled off gardens. We should keep the net free (as in free speech) open and diverse. I'm not going political hear but look how they all (the big platforms) all kicked AJ off, then 1000 or 10,000 of voices followed to be band. What happens to all the car people and gearhead's content if places like NASIOC go the way of myspace and then the overloads of big tech deem "gas cars bad" ? They did it to all the firearms and 2A connect, so don't say that could never happen.

P.S. i think it's great thing that NASIOC finely has there own image hosting, but it seems a bit late. I remember back in the day thinking "why are they telling people to use photobucket. It's going to brake things down the road", and yep look at all the dead links.

Kochi, I added ya.

On an aside, there is a guy here on NASIOC called tonton91 that just posted these Advans up for sale and I realized... I can't recall him posting in this tread, like... pretty much ever. Here's a pic of his build:

I believe I met the owner of this vehicle a few years back at Subiefest in SoCal. Car has progressed since from the looks of it.

After a few weeks of waiting on some parts from Japan, the Spec C manifold is up and running. We had the car eTuned by ShinjiTuned this past week to tie everything together, and wow, what a little rippa'! That little TD04 spools so fast and has such great little mid-range punch, it makes you laugh every time you hit it. Not going to win many drag races, but it's just such a fun car to drive. Shinji really transformed how the car feels.

My son also grabbed an STi-Prodrive cluster in mph that added a nice touch to the interior. We got a new oem lens for it as well as new oem bulbs to freshen it up.

Shik, do I have you on IG?

I finished wrapping my aftermarket, slightly different version of a Prodrive. Wrap isn't perfect but it'll do for the winter.

Default Bugeye email notifications. What is this, Netscape?

Is this what hibernation looks like? Just messing around with the wide angle on my GoPro.

Here's my bugeye, I've had it for 12 years but its been broken for the last 4. Finally got a motor built and installed a 6-speed swap a couple months ago. Was able to get one track day and a couple auto-x before the end of the season.

I have to say that I love your car, I've always had a thing for wagons and yours is top notch.

I want to add an oil cooler and hook up some brake ducts that I have to help with cooling. My goal is to get 3-4 track days in next year and most of an auto-x season next year.

Thank you !

Oil coolers are very nice ,even the spec c one will help a lot. I would love to hit the track 3-4 times next year we will have to see how things go.

I love your car and seeing it on track. What suspension do you have that you get so much air when you hit curbing?

Just a few from a rainy morning

Hoping to get the winning bid on these on Monday.

They’ll look pretty sweet on the bugeye.
