Default Accessport Maps for 2006 Impreza 2.5i

Have Rallitek maps for a 2005 Impreza 2.5RS and a 2007 Impreza 2.5i. When I contacted Cobb about using these maps on my 2006 Impreza 2.5i this is what they said:

"Tim (COBB Support)
Feb 03 04:56 PM

Hello,

The maps will have to be for the same year and model of vehicle that you are trying to load them on to. This is to keep the ECU from being corrupted or damaged. We still have a few maps for the 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i however, we do not have any horsepower increasing maps."

So with that, does anyone have the Rallitek maps for a 2006 Impreza 2.5i?!

From other owners of the Cobb AP for NA imprezas. Send me a PM with your email and year/model impreza and I'll send you the maps I have... I hope I can find one with a 06 2.5i who has the original Rallitek maps... Otherwise this is pretty useless to me.

I have the maps for 2008 2.5i I'm not sure if they work on your 2006. I'll have to look at my accessport. The engines are both ej253 so I would think they were compatible.

I think they have to be for the exact year/model. Cause I have the "same maps" but when in AP manager one says it's for 2005 Impreza 2.5RS (MT) and the other one says 2007 Impreza 2.5i (MT) which leads me to believe there is a difference. And the fact that someone from Cobb said that they're different I'm not about to fry my cars ECU.

But if you would can you send me all the maps you have... I'm trying to put them all together so I can upload them if someone needs them, they'll all be in one place. I'll PM you my email.

You're kind of thread jacking here...

Go to autozone and get a scan. Cruise control is disabled because of the CEL; that's just a thing Subaru does.

I don't know much about the AP.. but can you not take it to a shop that does tuning and have them tune it through the AP or even open source?

Sure... Send me $400-$500 and I'll go get a custom AP tune from a shop.

I was just making a suggestion, sorry for being so insensitive. An open source tune would cost the same as tuning through the AP, just without the cost of the AP. It is an option, if you cannot find any OTS maps for the AP, and assuming you could sell it.

They were not super popular, which means there's very few of them out there, even second-hand. On top of that, they've been discontinued for a long time, as the V2 was as far as that got in terms of development.
