2015+ STI cover cover options?
Hello all,
After some searching I cannot seem to find a car cover that fits the 15+ STI with the tall STI spoiler. All the ones I have found are only for the trunk lip spoiler. Does anyone know of a car cover that would fit the 15+ with the tall STI spoiler? Trying to keep my car from the elements when it is not being driven. Thank you!

I have a California car cover that fits very snug. But it wasnt cheap and Iive noticed slight rubbing Marks on certain surfaces that the cover creates when its windy outside. When its calm or if you're in a garage you wont have this problem.
If I know I'm not going to drive the car for a lengthy period of time I will tape microfiber towels in the places it rubs worst. Ya it's a pain but the cover fits really well. |

This.
California Car Cover I had one ages ago and it was made for the STI with tall win and taller scoop. I used the tie loops to keep the cover from moving too much and flying out in high winds. It was not good for New England winter weather though. Snow would pile up, melt, and then freeze on the cover. The cover would turn hard as ice and removing the cover was a pain. If some of the melted snow passed through, it would cause the cover to stick to the car. Tip: Always wash your car before putting the cover on. |

I got my car cover from www.carcover.com, i too was worried about the spoiler. I ordered one and was disappointed to see it didn't fit all the way. Emailed them and they responded the next day requesting i took pictures of the cover on and they immediately sent out a free replacement that fit perfectly without even requesting the old one back (gave it to a neighbor for his bmw). The cover is great and repels water even after having it a year. very durable would recommend, for 140 bucks you won't get better quality. worst case scenario they send you another and you have two covers, custom fit covers are alot more expensive. lifetime warranty is nice too
Edit: don't think fitment will be an issue for you since i had a 2005 STI and there was no "STI" option only impreza sedan, there is a 15 sti option Last edited by ProjectN64; 09-30-2018 at 12:52 AM. |

I am in the market for a nice indoor cover. Any suggestions for one with spoiler? Is Covercraft decent and can anyone chime in on how it washes. Aka shrinking? Thanks
