And having to trim the inner tie rods(?) made me lose some confidence.
The 15 rack requires the spacers, modifying the sub frame, tie rod triming, best to put in later ps pump and bracket, new lines and/or fittings, plus some having leaking issues, etc. No thank you, I'll take this one or even a 2004 STi rack, knowing it's a bolt in and forget about it.

Bumping this up, about how long does shipping take to get these?

And can anyone comment on steering resistance with this rack? More or less than stock? I prefer a quick but light feel, if makes sense.

Rack on my 04 needs to go and I'm sorely tempted, but a bit concerned about things being too quick for the street.

Thanks!

bump... its that time again. I need to replace my rack on my bugeye STI and was wondering about these.

It looks like I need to make the whole thing meanin source the bellows, inner and outer tie rod ends? i had terrible luck with Moog inners and it ended up ****ing up my 2005 LGT rack so much so where I'll need to replace that one as well...

back to the bugeye... since its a quick rack and requires no modification like the 2015's to fit this seems doable but the cost is up there for an uncomplete rack you know?

I sent them a message this morning, my time. I hope they respond quick.

I got one recently for my 05 WRX since the slow steering bugged me. Way too expensive, but no other option that slaps on easily. Very happy so far. I got some Mevotech inner tie rods.

Mevotech, I have used their LCA's and I'm happy with them.

I may need to look into their inners then. I may just buy OEM inners and outers. We will see. this will cost a pretty penny LOL

I bought the PRS rack last year for my '05 STI. It was a great, smooth transaction and the rack made a big improvement in the car. Swapping it out was a bit of an adventure, as my subframe decided to liberate two of the four captive nuts used to hold the rack in place, which was a lot of work and $$ to fix. But, that's not the rack's fault, that was a ****ty design by Subaru.
Once I had the subframe fixed, I really have enjoyed the faster rack. It took a little bit to get used to, but now that I am used to it, it's a huge improvement.
I wound up buying all OEM inner and outers during the swap, they weren't too expensive and had held up well on the track.

One thing to watch is to make sure you know which rack of theirs you need. My 05 WRX is 5x100, but I needed their "5x114" rack. I hadn't really looked at mine much so I didn't know the differences. The brief searching I did said that the rack style was changed over at some model year, possibly 05. The 5x114 version also requires for you to send in your old one for exchange.

I also had one of those captive nuts come off. Drilled it out and put in a helicoil type insert. Put in a Chase Bays reservoir/line kit also.

Did you end up receiving a response from them?

I messaged them a few days ago and no reply so far

Thanks for letting me know.

In the same situation. They've viewed it but not responded.

A bit dissapointing.
