Default 2015 WRX 12.9 1/4 Mile--Stage 1

Shop: VEMS
Dyno Type: Land and Sea
Temp: 82F
Boost: 20psi
Fuel: 93 octane+boostane
Target AFR: 11.1(93) 11.4(boostane)
SAE Corrections: Default Corrections
Peak HP: 260hp(93) 278(Boostane)
Peak Torque: 300ft/lbs(93) 312ft/lbs(Boostane)
Transmission: Stock 6 speed
Gear: 4th
Engine Management: Cobb AP V3

The Boostane tune ended up being 103 octane. Couldn't raise the boost from the regular pump gas map as the intake temps were crazy high, so it's running the same boost as the 93 tune. The car feels awesome. The bypass valve also leaks like a lot of the FA20 cars.

I know someone else who also did 12.9xx at the same track two years ago with his 2015 wrx.
All stock, except a 93 AP e-tune stage 1 (filled with Petro-94).

Different Fuel.

Like a meth or mild flex car running a 12.9ET.

You must be shooting out of that hole quick! Hows the drivetrain holding up? I want to take my car to the strip just to do a couple runs and check trap speeds.

All stock, just my tune. A bypass valve would definitely help. It leaks pretty bad.

I used one quart in a full tank of 93. So 102-103 octane.

I've probably made two dozen passes on it with launching and FFS, no issues.

Old thread! (3yrs old) I raise all kinds of stuff from the dead, including myself.

I just wanted to congratulate you on your 1/4 mile time with Boostane. I have been looking different forums for people specifically tuned on Boostane to see their before and after results. I will be playing with it on my 2018 Civic very soon. Thanks!

BTW: Since you didn't (couldn't) raise boost because of your intake temps, what difference did you see with your ignition timing through the gears, while on the Boostane tune? I figured they are more aggressive while on Boostane and that's what gave you the better 1/4 mile time. What was your previous 1/4 mile time without using Boostane?

A 106mph trap is showing an impressive amount of power.
