Hey guys was wondering if you think this is a decent price, my car is a '19 WRX. Received a quote for full paint correction, ceramic coat and paint protection film on the front/ rear bumper, halfhood and mirrors. The quote was $1800, does that seem over priced?

You would have to check around for your area.. for my location, that is not a bad price. I paid $2200-$2300 for xpel full front end, mirrors, fenders and paint correction plus cquartz finest ceramic coating.

For me it was worth every penny, it's been almost 4 years and the car is still in great shape. It's worth it to pay for the talent. Hopefully the shop you picked is well known and does great work. Good luck!

Is the rear bumper a full clearbra or just the top portion? Anyway.. really depends on the materials used. Clearbra alone material cost varies by brand and thickness.

Depends on where and how you drive, but on the FA the hood is quite high and flat so you may not need clearbra on the hood. My STI nor WRX have clearbra on the hood and no chip. Front bumper is well protected with clearbra however. I used XPEL on the STI, my WRX runs Suntek. Both are self healing type.

That sounds pretty fair to me. Just a deep interior clean and exterior wash where i'm at runs around $300.

I paid $1800 just for the expel ppf. It's What was considered the whole car not a 1/2 car. That was with nothing else. Paint correction and ceramic coat was another $900. Granted the place was loaded with a couple Ferrari's a couple Porsche and a few old Mercedes Benz. Ours was just a new wrx with PP. It only had about 50 miles so I opted for no paint correction.

Get yourself a chemical guys polishing kit, and do it yourself. Will save you a bunch of money. I'm happy with my results.

I will say this, I'm picking up an 18 WRX with 18K miles this week, and the front bumper was absolutely destroyed by chips and bugs. The dealership is having dent wizard of all people come out to fix the bumper before I take the car, but I'm thinking XPEL might be a smart move afterwards.

Right? That’s almost 10% of the car’s value!

There are a metric ton of detail "shops" (read: some dude in his ****ing garage at his house) here that have sprung up over the past year, and they all want like $400 for light swirl correction. Usually like $600+ for what is an actual full detail. Insane. I'll just buy my own **** and learn to do it myself at that price (which is what I actually did).

Yeah, and then you can register an LLC and charge $400 for light swirl correction!

I think this is the normal price. Perhaps after you finished this and you still want to buy new emblems or other accessories for your car, you can find it here - https://natalexauto.com/.

Sounds pretty cheap to me, I've seen buddies pay upwards of 2.5K USD.
