to give you a real 'idea' of what this is like:

a BRAND NEW 2007 RUF TWIN TURBO (yes, the real one)

pulls 484... (supposedly 650 crank)

hey patr... how is the spool on the TSR70 since it's a twin scroll setup? how much faster is it when compared to similar sized/power turbo but not twin scroll?

quote from Matt's post on IWSTI

My car set the pump WHP record on Pat's dyno at 460whp/390wtq. The tune was set for 23PSI. At that point, we ran out of gas (94oct), so we were "forced" to throw in some VP109 to finish dialing in the small stuff on the pump tune. Without changing a single thing, without adding boost or timing, or leaning things out (as per usual on a race gas tune), my car pulled 485WHP!! That pull shows the results of completely maximizing every aspect of the tune. Actually tuned for VP109, I would easily hit over 500whp.

not its not a legacy.

this is not the same car as the quote from IWSTI (460 or something), but very very close to same spec... crawford/cossie tsr70 but different EM

REMEMBER these are "leaving the shop and living far far away from RR" tunes, not "I wanna make a big number and fiddle with my car everyday" tunes.

That's the guy dasnowman was talking about, and RR just said it's not him they were referring to.

the white 07 limited on an Ecutek reflash pulled 465 and hit 485 without any retuning or anything just putting in a bit of gas (we ran out of 94 and it was like way too late to go anywhere to get any). NOT RETUNING just put in the gas. That was about 3 weeks ago.

ANOTHER car with similar mods hit 485 on pump (the one I am talking about) without any crazy BS lame extra ghetto ricer computer wiring or boost controllers or anything like that. clean, daily driveable.

I dont know if either guy is on Nasioc but the white one yes thats the guy you have listed above. The white one is coming back for the final SM4 installation as we had to revert to an Ecutek reflash after yet another AP decided to bite the bullet mid-tuning.

Yeah, the 465whp on 94 -->485whp on 109 w/out a retune was my car.

squashman (nasioc) = thelimitedproject (iwsti)

Pat, was that the '05 widebody STI that hit 485whp? If it is, he's definitely not on NASIOC... or doesn't post anyway.

i just recieved my vf48, have you RR guys ever worked with that particular turbo before? i bought it to replace my vf39 which is has a blown oil seal. im currently running a pdx e-tune map right now and they said it would be fine to drive around before getting a real tune....but i much prefer to smoke a little before i throw it on lol.

i was so impressed with the numbers Junior pulled out for subydude's 02 that i bought one, both of us are runnign almost identical supporting mods.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...highlight=vf48

im quite scared of exploding tranny syndrome that the 02s have so i didnt wanna go big :X

Vince126 you're better off giving RR a phone call if you have any questions regarding tuning.

So I hit the 314-315 WHP mark this week on RR dyno.

Not bad for a TMIC set -up with a catted DP and stock up pipe.
