I live in prescott and am saving up to buy a wrx. Me and my friend have recently become wrx fans after a friend of ours bought an 04 and took us for a ride, and let me drive it. I always see you p-town peeps driving around in your nice wrx's and have to stop and admire. Idk if any of you guys ever meet at the whataburger by the skatepark downtown, but I went there last saturday and saw 3 scooby's lined up. I was driving an 05 lifted chevy silverado duramax deisel regency edition. So yeah, if you guys ever see a kid driving a big white truck or a little green honda accord scopin' you out, its probably me. I cant wait till I get enough money to get my car, but that will be a while...

haha yep. My friend asked one of the girls about her car, and she said she got it for like 18 out the door in texas. I dont know much of anything about cars so I never go socialize with the people at meets, I always just tend to gawk. Its makes for bad first impressions, but I cant help myself. I'm hoping to learn more though...

Dont worry about the body work cuz i have to get my door fixed from where someone backed into it. You should come up to the meet and see what its all about and if tis something you want to get into for sure.

yeah man for sure. My friend is getting into it as well, so I'll have to bring him along with me. Do you guys have certain meets on certain days? If so it would be cool to know where and when cause I dont think I can make it out to the one you guys are having at inNout tonight. I'm working until about 8:30... And my name is cody by the way.

right now I'm working for my dad just to pay off my loan I took out for my last car. He owns his own contractors business and his brother owns a drywall business, so I do a lot of both. Scrapping drywall, running errands, basically just doing apprentice work to both my dad and my uncle haha. I really need the money though cause my last car (1993 mercedes 190e) got totaled by some jerk who didnt know how to drive so I gotta pay back the $2,800 dollar loan I took out before I can start saving for my wrx. I'm looking for a second job too, just so I can get this whole deal taken care of a quick as possible. My cousins husband works for a mechanics place, so I'm thinking of maybe having him teach me some stuff so I can start getting into that field of work too. But for sure, if I can make it out I will, and if not I'll keep an eye open for you guys this weekend or whenever. Cause like I said, I dont know much about cars, but I'm interested in learning and meeting some new people who know whats up.

well, i will be the first to say the meet last night was freekin' sweet.... haha
in'n'out vanilla shake was delicious, a few subies showed up, a couple riddle... i took off early (i told my gf she didn;t want to come) so i don't know if more showed up. i saw a couple heading that way when i was on my way home. we need to get all the prescott subie's together and do a jerome luncheon...

but for the first, kind of spur of the moment meet, it was pretty good.
