I am as excited as the next guy but just so we get a clear understandings of the gains, what else if anything has been changed/added to the setup since last tune and dyno numbers?

Previous Mods that did not change SteamSpeed STX-71 (They get a bad wrap but my turbo has worked flawless after the gen2 porting and going to external wastegates) Killer B EXT wastegate header with Tial 38mm Gates ETS 3" turbo back with stock mufflers and 3" boost dump at the y-pipe near the mufflers. (its only as loud as it has it has to be lol) ETS 3.5" Intake and heat shield. ------------------------- SIDE note FP intake inlet should up as I was typing this so. Hopefully I can get it installed tonight.... |

It would be best, if possible, to do a pull with current map on this setup (assuming tuner says is ok). Then recalibrate then dyno again. So to show exact delta gains. |

I still have all my logs and virtual dyno from the current tune with all the previous parts. As long as I can get my lean condition sorted with out a tune, I will do a run with the current tune and compare. Then we will start the new etune process. Not as scientific as a dyno... but pretty damn close for a DIYer. |

Here is where you need to use and understand what weather, temp, wind, baro pressure, elevation, tires and air pressure and weight in vehicle will do when compared to each run.. if all is pretty much the same (same day, same road..... (going in the same direction, as there might be a slight incline or decline our butt dyno can't detect, which would play havoc on one pull being greater that another based on downhill vs uphill, even if its slight and not visually noticeable.) I remember doing a run with VD for the fun of it with a slight up hill, I netted in VD over 120 WHP on the same stretch one way vs the other way!! it was pretty ridiculous, as the incline was not very noticeable.. good luck and thanks for those vids! who knows this might be something to play with once I'm done playing with Fords and I get a FA24DIT for the rex (I feel bad, she is just gathering dust in the garage and her trunk is being used as storage for Ford parts) |

Quick update...
I got my turbo inlet leak resolved. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting on a response from a couple of different etuners. Holidays, but I get it. Car can not do a pull on the existing tune... This intake BREATHs big time and any time I get into a little bit of boost the ECU freaks out and goes straight to 10.14 AFR. The intake sound is a amazing just under normal driving conditions or at idle... sound like a vacuum cleaner with huge metal pipes. I’ll keep y’all posted if I get an etuner to respond. |

I saw a FB post on IBRs website. A WRX on 91 octane, EBCS, CAI, FMIC and the modular manifold put down 320 whp and 297 torque!

So no J-pipe, or catback exhaust mods? I know I hit that on 93 with a tune and a Jpipe like 5 years ago.. at a fraction of the cost... what does a car with those mods and just a regular TGV Deletes crank out? I'd say prob. about the same minus 1200 bucks

I'm thinking the value in this intake manifold will really be on a FBO + turbo upgraded build that can make use of the port injection. Which means control of said injectors has to be established. This is definitely not an "affordable" mod for beginners or people who want basic set ups for Daily driving. |

With the cost and know-how that this intake manifold needs, i would generally assume anyone who has it is pushing it. If no... RIP that guys wallet for simply flexxxing on the poors |

I know we are all curious on how the car will feel when your tune is complete. Hopefully one day you can get in a dyno to see the differences |

so an here's an update. I have been working with two different etuners and chasing mechanical issues, not related to the intake. The results with the first etuner were pretty disappointing but I can't totally blame the etuner because again, mechanical issues. The second etuner helped me run down some of the issues but i ran out of time before dyno day to. Yup dyno day is tomorrow. I have it a shop now getting sorted before it gets put on the dyno. Here's to hoping it's all sorted by tomorrow, lol.
