Default OEM Splash guard part change

My original splash guard (the thing keeping you from seeing the ground through the car when popping the hood) was lost and needed to be replaced. The new part looks different- does not clip onto the holes along the front lip of the bumper at all. Is there an additional piece I’m missing?

If anyone can direct me to a photo of the underside of this area with things properly buttoned up it would be super helpful. Maybe I’m just missing how it gets reassembled properly.

Do you have an Impreza or a WRX/STi? There are differences in width, subframe and body panels that make a difference in fit.
