That is a tough one, I really liked the sound of the Tomei, but I do like the look of a true dual tip exhaust.. aggh too many choices!

We installed the Perrin Shifter Bushing on our 2015 WRX. Easy mod and replaces the soft factory rubber shifter bushings.

Thanks,
Rick

Just a quick update

We installed some Racecomp Tarcam Zero Coilovers. These were specific for the 08-14 STI, but they will work as long as you secure the ABS line to the front strut. Check out the photos.

And a sneak peak of something to come

I'll get a video of the Racecomp Engineering coilovers here soon!

Thanks,
Rick

Hello RallySport,

I was looking at your oil change pictures, is there a reason you do change the filter after you've drained the engine? Does the oil in the filter drain out with the engine or was there still a little bit of a mess when you change the oil filter?
Thank you

I could be wrong, but my train of thought is that as you drain the oil, it will suck any residual oil out of the filter. There will always be a tiny bit of oil to clean up, but it seems to help with any excess oil.

Rick

What are your thoughts on the new tires? Understandably your suspension and wheels are quite a bit different than stock, but how would you compare them? I ask because I've been close to buying the Michy Super Sports a few times already.

These tires are the bees knees! I have lusted after them for quite some time, so I was genuinely excited when we got them for the WRX. They are quiet, super grippy, responsive, good on the edge of grip and very predictable. And all of this wrapped in a "street" tire, honestly I could not ask for more out of a summer only daily driver tire. So overall, I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone!

Thanks,
Rick

so i take it given the same wheel and tire specs i should be fine at stock wrx height, or sti height. did you guys roll the rears or no?

im wanting to run the 255/40 but don't want to roll the fender. i don't plan to lower the car any more than stock sti height

We might end up rolling the rear fenders, we are super close to rubbing. Also I would imagine if you had a less aggressive offset on your wheels, you should be okay too.

Thanks,
Rick

How much quieter are they from stock? The stock tires work good but on anything less than a perfect source, they are loud!!
