So I just got done testing some parts on the 2015 STi.
Catbacks, will work BUT! The middle hanger on the mid pipe is off by about 1". So yes you should be able to use 2011+ Sedan catbacks, but the middle hanger might not line up. Also the mufflers might sit really close to the chassis (on the back side of the muffler).
We did all testing with a 2011 STi Sedan OEM exhaust.

All rear sway bars are the same, along with endlinks! So you guys and gals can upgrade those. But keep in mind, Subaru has been know to install rear struts backwards (our shop 2015 STi has this issue). So when installing aftermarket endlinks if your rear struts are flipped, you will need to rotate them 180 degrees.

Hope this helps you guys out!
Also we have all confirmed parts listed on our website, and will be adding more later this afternoon!

Spent some time with the STi today

Put it up on the lift today to do some product test fitment

After that it was time for a wash. Its been raining the last few days and the car got quite dirty! We got our favorite SONAX cleaning products and went to town.

This is the effect of the SONAX wheel cleaner, it turns red after a few minutes as it begins working away at the brake dust. Quick scrub with a soft brush and the wheels are as good as new.

After that finished off by doing a quick wax on the car using the Sonax High Speed was and the car is better then new

The seats are very comfortable. I find them to be more comfortable then the 08-14 Sti model seats. They do lack side support, but not anything worst then the OEM GR/GV seats from the 08-14 STi.

They are comfortable and do not have any strange pressure points such as the old GD STi seats, but are not supportive such as the EVO X Recaro seats for instance.
Hope that clears it up.

Well Put! I agree with you completely. Any thought of carrying JCS Pods products? The A pillar of this car will be a prime gauge location for the '15 platform. Spoke to Jason over there today and they are already in the works.

Concern for us of running A pillar gauge pods is the fact that there is an airbag located right behind it. It poses a huge safety concern if the airbag was to deploy, causing the gauges and the pod to become a projectile that can seriously injure the occupant. Another concern with a pod sitting over an airbag is that OE manufactures make sure that the pieces that cover the airbag break in a certain way when the airbag goes off to ensure proper operation of the airbag.

Just a favour.
If/when you guys do tune the car, can you PLEASE do a stage1 tune and see what the numbers look like?
Same with just a downpipe for Stage2.

Several have been tunned already but the shops put a whole bunch of aftermarket parts on it, (pumps, injectors...) all well and good, but I think people will want to start with simple things first. Eg. Just a tune (be it off the shelf, or custom) same with Stage2. Downpipe and a tune. No extra parts.

Just curious about how much the stock factory tune has been improved and what a stage 1 tune can do for the car. It was a huge improvement on the GRs.

Thanks in advance.

We will make sure to do stuff like that in stages. In the past we have done Stock, Stage1, stage2 ect. This way we can release good information to help people out asking those exact questions

Sorry for lack of updates recently. The STi has 850miles on it, and I am trying to break it in ASAP! Its so close to being broken that its driving me crazy.
However we have some testing lined up as soon as we can start driving the car hard.

So just a heads up, some companies exhausts are not crossing over.
The Q300 does not fit correctly on this car, and as a result we are working close with Invidia on developing a new system specific for the 2015 WRX/STi.
As more information is available we will let everyone know.

The Sti has just been itching to be broken in.. well okay that's not true, but we have been itching to get the STi all broken in. We just want to be able to go have some real fun with it, so we are excited to say that it is 100% broken in, and the first order of business is an oil change, so let's get started.

Tools needed:
17mm wrench
12mm socket
Flat head screwdriver for plastic clips
Oil Filter Wrench (why are these factory filters on so tight!?)
Clean Funnel
A few rags or paper towels

What we used:
4.5 Quarts of Penrite Racing 5W30 oil
Prova Oil Filter
Dimple Magnetic Drain Plug M20X1.5X14
Note* if re-using your factory drain plug, make sure to pick up a new crush gasket for it

First thing we like to do is remove the oil fill cap, it seems to make draining the oil quicker and also less messy. Once done, get under your car, as we will have to remove the factory under panel. There are 6 plastic push clips total (3 on each upper side of the panel), 2 large clips, and 3 x 12mm bolts holding on the under panel.

You can see the 3 side panel clips here. Remember there are 3 on each side.

And the large clips on the rear of the panel will pull out.

With the under panel off, we now have access to the oil filter, and this will also make draining the oil easier as well. Use your 17mm wrench to break the oil drain plug loose, and make sure to place your oil catch pan under the drain plug and let er' loose.

Once the oil is drained, insert the drain plug back in and torque to spec, which should be 33 ft-Lb's.

Now we can move onto the oil filter. The stock filter was on incredibly tight, so we had to use an oil filter wrench to remove it.

With the filter off, we like to clean up any residual oil left on the bottom of the oil cooler.

Fill the new filter with oil, and use the oil to lube up the O-ring before installation.

Install the new oil filter, Subaru lists the torque at 10.7 ft-lbs, but we usually just go hand tight plus about ¼ of a turn extra.

Reinstall the under panel in reverse order. It may be helpful to have a buddy to help you hold the panel up while you get the first few bolts or clips in.

Now use your funnel and put in the rest of the 4.5 Quarts. Double check the dipstick to make sure oil is showing, put on the oil cap, and start the car. Look for the oil light and make sure it turns off, let the car idle while you visibly check for any leaks. If no leaks present, shut off the car and let it sit for a minute, check the oil dip stick and add any oil if needed.

If everything looks good, give yourself a huge high five and make sure you do a victory dance as you just successfully did your own first oil change on your 2015 STi.

Last and most important step, go for a drive and enjoy your car!

Thanks,
Rick

it stands to reason that initial break in gunks up the oil more as things begin wear. If you behaved during that period and are waiting for 1000 miles to rip on it here is a good point to begin oil changes. Also, Subarus love clean oil, my interval is 2500 miles!

A brand new motor puts out a large amount of debris into the oil. We simply do not want to have that floating around and think that 1K of conservative driving is sufficient for a proper break in.

There are many many debates of how to break in a motor, this is how we have always done it and have never had a issue as a result of this break in. So we stick to it, as we know it works of us
