Simmer down, everyone. NASIOC doesn't have to be the land of the wicked where the n00bs are flayed, grilled, and consumed. If you do, add some salt, maybe a little cumin and paprika, but no...play nice and help by leading and not by yelling at them for mistakes. I'm already an absentee moderator because I work too much. Don't get me all fired up and feeling like the police needing to meet an end-of-month quota for infractions .
Carry on good people, carry on. |

Here I am, responding to you and muddying this thread even further. A thread about brake upgrades.
Do we want NASIOC to be like a public car group on Facebook? One with little to no moderation? 80% trash talk and off-topic talk... Is NASIOC so concerned about membership numbers that they let members get away with anything? I see where my use of **** was censored. Well, in my book some members should be. They should be talked to and rebuked. I've been on here for ten years and contributed a lot (to NASIOC and your nearest competitor). In general, FB car groups are where juveniles act like juveniles and serious content is hard to find. Do we want to lower the bar to FB level? I have hoped that NASIOC would remain one bastion of intelligent conversation about Subarus left on the internet. When morrisrh1 posted his first post, I said it was in the wrong place and gave him three resources for answers. In response I got a rash of **** from him. A FB kind of rude response. If this is the bar we have set, and you want me to calm down, then I will put my support money and contributions elsewhere. If you like, I would be happy to post this opinion elsewhere and you can delete it from this thread. |

Hi all, just got a 2017 STi from 2002 wrx wagon. its used car and it seems its time for better brake pads for the STi.
I just found out since the BRZ ts , 86 special edition and Sti all use the same Brembo calipers. Does anyone consider to use the TRD pads on the STi? If you do have use them on the STi, how are they performance compare to hawk? Thanks for all your input Ben |

Has anyone measured the newer STi brake MC to see if they've increased the size to compensate for the 6 piston calipers?
