Default JDM SG Forester STI takeoffs on USDM XT Not lining up

I was under the impression that the JDM SG Forester STi suspension should work on my 04 FXT, simple in and out. The front worked fine, but It seems like the rears are backwards, the three hat bolts on the right side line up on the left and vice versa. They are clearly marked LH and RH. If I were to swap them, the brake line retention piece built into the strut would be backwards if swapped. I've not seen any videos where they had to do any modifications, seems like they just bolt right up. Any ideas?
