My new to me 06 STi
Photo taken in front of the Nittany Lion Inn, State College PA. Plan is to daily the Impreza and keep this as the weekend fun car. Planning on making a build thread on here as well, probably more photos and adventures than mods for a while but with time some things will change! 14 by Greg Nutter, on Flickr |

hi yall, so i just started using nasioc again after many moons haha. ok so i'm looking for a bit of help/info here. i have found a set of LIC rear flares for my 2006 sti. I track the car and i know the rears will accommodate 275s with ease. however, i am trying to decide what size wheel and tire to pickup for the fronts. I would like to pickup RPF1s. and run them in 18x9.5 or 18x10 with a 265-275 tire. I do track the car, so I will need to pickup a set that will be functional. How wide can I go up front (willing to run -3 ish deg camber) on my sti? and should i be looking at the 9.5+38 (will need 10mm spacer to clear brembos, so effectively +28) or should i look at the 10s+38, which will only need a 3mm spacer. or will the 9.5+15 be able to fit properly (no spacer required). i am more than willing to either run the seibon +10mm carbon fenders or modify the heck out of my oem ones (which i'd prefer). i just want to get the right size and offset the first time so i dont have to do this multiple times. it seems like alot of yall have nice setups and i figure someone in here could help.
note: i am also willing to run work emotion zr10 which would be in 18x9.5 with a +38, +30, +22, or a +12. edit: i have seen a few pics where it looks like people put washers on the front fenders to push them out a bit. if anyone has info on how this is done or if i should even look into this, that would also be helpful. |

Nice shots! Is the area you were taking pictures still active? I mean I know with COVID a lot of small towns aren't getting any business. Just curious. The chicken place I mean
Nice! How long have you had her? 58k miles is LOW! Also your significant other looks bored |

There is activity around here. That chicken place is open and has been around forever. They just do take out and only open a few days per week. It's always been like that so they were essentially conditioned for COVID times already. I hope out east by you is hanging in there. It's all about that signage...awesome when lit up at night and all old-timey looking. |
