It's really bot that bad to do! Just get yourself and OEM one since you can remove the colored ends and accurately mark your drill holes. Measure 4 times, have a buddy, take your time and it's easy. I'm no body guy I only drilled into the first layer and used self tapping screws, it's very solid. And cover it up with silicone!

Yeah it sounds easy in my mind but I can't do it. My luck it would leak....

i bought the hood from a friend oem carbon fiber they're $550, $50 more then the oem. the lip i got off ebay for $120.

No, because it's still my DD. People hear Blitz and think it's the LOOOUUUD Spec R. But I got the Touring model which is super quiet and mellow - even better for my commute. Just wanted something different and I've always wanted this setup!

Yeah I've been through quite a bit of exhaust. At times I do want something louder but she's my DD and I drive from site to site so I don't want it to get annoying..
