updates

I want to ditch the STi side skirts and do WRX skirt setup

Mishimoto thermostatic oil cooler (I need to modify the bracket to pull it up just a bit)

More interior stuff came in and the old stuff got taken out.

Still have to remove all the airbag wiring, passenger airbag, and airbag control module

Sparco Ergo ll

These will mount to a Planted seat base. (forgot to take the picture)

Test fit

Allot of cleaning to do inside. Some parts need to have some surface rust removed and be re-sprayed. I have some carbon plate coming in that I have some plans for, and I still need the weld-in-cage to get here to mount the seat. I have a ton of projects to finish up, so going to take a break to save up some funds and try to get as much done in the next two weeks as I can. Colder weather will allow me long days in the garage.

More work on the interior. Made
A switch plate out of carbon to delete the radio.

And pulled the car out to clean the shop in anticipation of the rollbar.

Into the night which ended with beers with friends

As it is impossible to find a Cusco lip anymore. This one is from S2 Auto Designs. It a***960;parently has a longer lip section.

I will also be picking up my brand new OEM bumper soon. I have some other modfication ideas planned for the front bumper but this is a good start.

Some updates. All the airbags, sensors, and contoler are out and I am working on the harness now. Next will be the door panels and all the speaker crap.

started to get rid of the minimal rust. I removing all of the OEM seam sealer. (this is a old pic the front footwells are almost done)

removed the rear bumper support because it was roached.

Bonded the hood vent. Looks crazy but I wanted to make sure it was flush.

And done.

I'm not one for a melting pot of carbon but something about your car in raw form i like. I see you mentioned paint in Nov. Are you (and your pops) tackling this?

Two option. One is having a friend of a friend come over and we paint it at the shop. Or the option I'm leaning towards is a new place I got recommended to that does awsome work. As I get closer I will contact them to get a rough number.

Test fit the rear panels... and man do these fit perfectly! Going to look great with some nice hardware and the lexan windows with the carbon trim!

Cage/roll bar work starts soon getting excited.

Thank you. Taking my sweet time and enjoying myself.

Tein Flex coil-overs. Not sure when they were installed but appear to be in ok condition. I will be replacing them with a 2 way setup. Either BC HMs or KW club sports (spring rates pending). Also, the entire TTS fab catalog and some Whiteline part mixed in.

If you are going to drive it in the winter... I HIGHLY reccomend the KW's as they are stainless and won't have much of 'winter' issue that others brands seem to have.. just my 2 cents..

No, this will be a fair-weather kinda build. But I am in the North East so road salt is the devil and something to consider. Thanks for the 2 cents keep it coming! I will be the first to admit that I dont know everything... even allot for that matter ...

This car will come out when I want to have a good time or an event I want to attend.

So some kinda woodland creature decided to set up shop above my gas tank when the car was sitting for all those years. This is the result....

I will be replacing all of this with a fuel cell and the rust on the body was not to bad at all...

Roll Bar mocked up needs to go back further.

Progress on the wiring this is allot of work I will post a whole bunch of pictures when that done.

Switch plate it coming out awesome. Allot of trimming and fine tuning.
