Not going to argue. Math isn't hard. Try it out.

I told you I am not arguing. If you are fluent in math; you shouldn't have any problem in calculating the variables along with the overall cost of the project opposed to simply doing a swap or trading in the car for a WRX/WRX STi. I also find it funny I am subscribed to you on YouTube. I was the one who asked where you got your N1 from

What are the advantages of doing this kit as opposed to sourcing used wrx parts such as exhaust mani, up and down pipe and turbo and crossmember? Would the extra money spent be wiser even if you get everything the kit comes with for much cheaper? No disrespect to the thread just really wanting to turbo my obs. Those 245 tires look sick by the way.

If you are thinking turbo, I would ask you to ask yourself, do you really just want some more power, or do you want a WRX/STI. I would have just done the swap to begin with if I had known, but I enjoyed the experience. Also, thanks! They use to rub a little because I lowered it a hair with coilovers as well, but we are all good now! |

Quick question due to fueling what did you do about your FPR I have a 2006 2.5i that's supercharged and seems that even with IPW's increased at 4k I still don't have enough fuel. So I guess my question is did you install a wrx fuel pump, a RRFPR, or an AFPR . Actually anyone that can answer this feel free to do so. Not trying to take over your post but you might want to check and see what is what cause I'm running 2006 wrx injectors 550-560cc so those are fine but fuel delivery is low. So what did you do to achieve more fuel

What I mean by fuel pump is complete fuel intank unit, see the 2.5i's have regulator in tank and actually fuel cut WOT anything above " 8 psi"so they say but I'm at 9 psi and at 4k already don't have enough fuel. So if tuner spotted that what did you do too achieve proper fueling. Walbro isn't enough if regulator is holding required psi of fuel back it just means it can deliver it if needed

Assuming you are 10 or less your set up should be adequate. You might be getting a restriction from the filter. If it is indeed causing a restriction you'll be running the canister dry which could cause your lean condition up top. Once you swap the filter out post back and here the results. If it's not the filters the next thing to do is double check the lines for kinking/pinching. |

Ok I have read just about all of this post and I have a couple questions. I just bought a 2007 Impreza 2.5i and was eying this turbo kit up. My car has 76k miles on it now and was thinking how would it effect reliability further on down the road and also if there were and hidden costs excluding the fuel system upgrade and ecu tune? To anyone about to tell me save the money and time to get a WRX or STI please save your breath. even after the $3,400 for the kit i am still Sub 12 grand price tag and just about equal maybe a little more power than a stock WRX. This is pretty much the only thing I plan on doing to it. Would you recommend this kit for both reliability and power increase?

I don't think it's as simple as buying a turbo and pitting it on there's a lot of other stuff u need to upgrade to your engine so it can handle the extra power.
