I use a JD-Squared Model-3 that I converted to full hydraulic operation. MUCH easier/convenient than manual style bending. With a manual bender it has to be stationary (solid mounted to floor) with the hydro style I'm able to roll it around my shop. |

What dies did you use on the project, I know the tubing is 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" but what radius' did you use

It wasn't designed for any specific type of racing. He'll mainly be doing track days and just having fun. Wanted something save to drive incase the unthinkable happened... He's close to 600whp.
The stock dash bar is quite real! It's also very stout. It'll do just fine. Quote:

I know a guy selling a mitler brothers one that he used for aluminum mostly. Think he wants $3000 comes with a few different size cutters to if you're interested.

I picked up a JD2 over the winter. Just have a 1.5 die and it's killer. What bending software are you using? |
