****s already on fire. On the other hand, it was fun to put my new drone in the air when I smelled the smoke.

Hot enough we took the dogs out to Waimea to enjoy the breeze and somewhat cooler temps!

You registered your drone, right?

And were connected to RemoteID during your flight?

After passing the FAA TRUST test?

Yes, Dad. Well, except for the registration as it's not yet required for drones under .55 lbs.

Record breaking heat three days in a row getting up to 113F where I am at and no central air. My poor window ac unit is struggling. 90F by 9:00 am and still 90F at 9:00 pm is not fun.

Does this mean I can officially complain about summer?

Yup. I have had a window mount AC, a floor standing AC, and upwards of 5 fans all going at once just to maintain just under 80F in my house for days now. It sounds like a jet engine in this house. Nearly as hot, too.

How's summer for everyone so far? Were half way done and it has sucked in the northeast.
Record rain, low temps, mostly cloudy days. Clouds gather every time I think of doing anything outside. Even just now. We also have had smoke from the fires from the west.

Thoughts and prayers for those out west though.

It's been a bit above normal temps, but only a couple degrees here and there. Significantly more rain than avg so far. This weekend looks like it will be really nice. Highs in the mid 70s, mostly sunny.

In MN we get some heat and humidity but what sucks is all the smoke from the Canadian wild files. I'm 5-6 hours from the border and it's still pretty dense haze. You normally can't smell it, but Wednesday smelt like burning plastic.

It's been 'Summer' here since mid-May. Summer usually isn't here fully until late June/July 4th. **** me.

Good news is fall is around the corner. Best time of the year for me.

We had a couple short stretches of 95* humid hell in central NJ. To the point that it would be seemingly gorgeous outside on a weekend but not worth going out because of the heat. Yard work was put off until 7pm until the sun was mostly behind the trees.
I know it’s not over yet but we’re heading into a week of high70s/low80s and over nights in the low 60s. I’ll gladly take it for now and dread for when the suck returns.

Feelz man, feelz.

We're deep in the danger region of the heat index now.

When its like this I have to mow, then go inside for several hours before I'm recovered enough to do much else.

Edging usually gets done the following day.

Yesterday I tipped my riding mower up to sharpen the blades. It was the first thing I did. Between the exertion of lifting it and the heat, I got dizzy and lost my vision for a few seconds...while supporting the weight of the mower. Never had that happen before. Getting old and spongy sucks.

Would you rather: sit in an 85F and rising home or go to the MIL's? *assuming she has AC*
