if its just readiness monitors because you reset your ecu due to battery or whatever reason just drive the car until its ready. It should be under 100 miles.

With all this uncertainty about detection of altered ECUs and such I'm glad I don't have to deal with it any more.

That is weird, as my 02 ecu is ecutek flashed. It's been passing smog since new w/o issue. The DMV directed my car to star stations for the last five years or so and she still passes with ease running a jdm twinscroll setup.

Coincidentally I did have readiness flags last time and had to drive it 30 hwy miles or so till it was ready.

*Crap I just saw the other thread about the bar-ois modified software check. This is messed up...

Default 06 wrx secondary air monitor not ready

My 06 wrx didn’t pass smog due to the secondary air monitor not ready and that is the only one I need I already drove hundreds of miles and can’t get it to set. I have no pending codes and everytime I start the car early in the morning I hear the pump run for like 2 secs then it stops is that normal

Driving the car does nothing for this readiness monitor. This monitor will be ran every cold start. There are multiple things to the system that need to work in order for it to run the monitor.
Air injection pump, Air injection valve (2 of them), atmospheric pressure sensor in the 1st main air injection valve to detect positive pressure from pump, rear oxygen sensor to detect the lean air fuel mixture from the air injection valves are operational.
