I recently came to realization that moving out of state has made sniffing out spam calls super easy.
If the area code is from back home, and not already saved in contacts, it gets bounced to voice-mail

Been working on a simulation model at work. I got it working, and then adjusted the input data to match conditions for a test we ran.
I have spent 3 weeks trying to get my sim output to match the test results and just never could get it right. Finally figured out where my flaw was today. Was then able to tweak a parameter until I had it matching the test data perfectly. On top of that, for test purposes I had one portion of the sim set as a simple constant input. I was able to build up a dynamic model for that portion this afternoon and got it working, even though I felt like I was a blind man in a maze as I did so. I'll consider it a significant personal accomplishment if I get all this working considering I've had zero training using the sim software, and nobody else at work uses it. |

The lady that lives across the street looks to be in her 70's and rocks a pristine Isuzu 4x4 like this one. The same color too.
It's just a bit of joy when I see her out in it. |

Had a sensor pcb in an outdoor weather sensor go bad. Fortunately the company changed their design and made it a replaceable module.
Ordered on Friday, and shipped via USPS. I figured I'd see it by the end of this week. It came on Monday! |

I'm not 100% sure, haven't seen inside, but looks to be by the way it drives.

I don't know why, but that growly thing that Stevie Wonder does when he sings makes me smile.

If she was, she was dressed like, well, a little old lady sitting bolt upright, and she wasn't smoking at the time I saw her.
Other than the fact that she had on a helmet and wasn't wearing a dress, she looked like "Granny" from the Tweety and Sylvester cartoons. Elaborate Cosplay? LARP? I dunno, but it turned my head. |

That sounds like a woman I worked with that retired last year. Little 5' granny that rode a Harley. I guess she used to be part of a biker gang back in the 60s and 70s, worked as a machinist, then eventually became a born-again Christian. Even in her 60s she still does that ride from California to DC.

my CC has a positive balance of $400, for some reason unknown to me, just in time to get two new tires for the 4runner.

Dear Orange Juice,
You might be the most refreshing beverage. Nice and cold. Well shaken and frothy. Please don’t change. |

I had a #2 today that would likely be a personal record breaker if I kept records of them. Then I had a 2nd #2 that would normally have been impressive on its own a few hours after that.
Gripe: I didn't weigh myself this morning to estimate how much I've #2'ed in the last little while. |
