Even needing an engine rebuild that seems pretty cheap for one of those. Wonder how much shipping to the mainland is?

So to make us all feel a bit older, it dawned on me today that 2000/2001 cars now qualify for this thread.

So I guess we can post Celica GTS and the like now.

I had a 93 typhoon years ago. A low mileage perfect example. What a piece of **** it was.

I’ve always had a thing for sleeper models.

I always wanted GTS when they came out new. I still see a few on CL from time to time. I guess the hot rod 1.8 had some problems though? IDK.... maybe not a problem if you pull the motor and beef up the internals or something..

Yes!! I had a Thrasher/SLP GSX hybrid. God I loved surprising the Mustang/Camaros of the day. Favorite story of the car was going to the local 1/4 mile track on an open run night. Park, pull the baby seat out, then go run a 12.9. Slow by today’s standards, but darn quick in 1999. There was a crowd waiting for me when I got back to my spot.

I had an 89 MR2 as a teenager. Snap oversteer nearly killed me a few times.

That said, $7500 seems a bit much for that car but it’s not a bad price. I once detailed a blue supercharged MR2 like that one, it had OEM MR2 Spyder wheels on it and it looks great with those wheels.

I was never the biggest fan of the 6-series but I have to say, they've grown on me quite a bit. Something about a big straight 6 and a 5-speed transmission is too hard to ignore.

I guess it never dawned on me that there was a boring 4 door version in Japan as well since I've never seen one, but holy hell the sleeper appeal on this thing makes me want it so much. https://www.japaneseclassics.com/veh...integra-sedan/

There was a 4 door Integra here in the US too...my parents almost bought one instead of Camry. I was not pleased.
