Don't bid on any Phoenix trips then.

Dogs in public should be like babies, happy, quiet, and not peeing and pooping in sight of others.

Good dogs in public are awesome...problem is that not all dogs are well trained.

I work in a "dog friendly" workplace. I typically like the dogs better than the owners. But owners, if they crap or pee, CLEAN IT UP. Don't expect ME to do it.

And if you are crass enough to bring a dog into a restaurant, DON'T Put you "cute little dog" on the flipping TABLE. You know, the one people EAT from.......

I had to go back to the ER and then be admitted to the hospital to get a stent put in me to drain the yukky muck stuck behind the stuck kidney stone. Does any of this remove the stone? No, it does not. I don't get to talk about what happens next to get rid of the stone until Friday. But at least I'm home after two days and they gave me the good meds in the hospital I'm sure I'm going to wish I had again when the bills start rolling in :cries:

In most areas I've been in, any place that serves or sells food cannot allow dogs inside. Also, a lot of organized outdoor events have the same restriction.

Many local restaurants and cafes allow dogs in the outdoor seating areas, heck many allow them inside too.

What are your feelings on dogs breastfeeding?

Headphone case fell on the floor. Now the ese buds won’t turn off.

I went to the gym on Sat and 2 min in they turned off due to battery low. Guess these are unreliable now.
Also, Aukey got booted off Amazon. Good luck to me with warranty.

I have an old Harman Kardon SB26 sound bar which sits in my computer room I just use whenever I want music.
I hate this thing. It keeps adjusting volume, like dynamic volume.
Music starts with low volume, sound bar plays it loud.
Rest of music starts and now volume is at 15+ and I have to lower the volume.
This thing sucks donkey, so much it made me remember why I bought the whole 5.1.2 system. Because of this.

I'm about to gift this thing to whoever wants it.
I should get a receiver and use that with the two bookshelf speakers I got doing nothing.

You probably don't even need a receiver if your PC is your source. Just get a small 2 channel amp.

that is not a bad idea. Prices of something not too fancy look good too.

edit: for now I busted out my 19yr old old Creative Sound 4.1 speaker system
Damn, it sounds much better than the Harman Kardon speaker bar.

The stupid price increases..

Bought chlorine tabs that were $50 bucks in 2019, and $160 this week.

Yes, your dog is your friend, your life companion. You don't go anywhere without him. He's adorable.

Now get him out of the ****ing store, you dolt. You're not special! The rules apply to you.

Where are all the Subarus for sale?? Slim pickings in the FS section. The reason I got back on here is I have a family member looking for one.

Edit: All on BaT now?

Leaving the office today, there's a construction crew working on the street that has narrowed the exit to one lane, and the street's been reduced to one lane in each direction to make controlling traffic easier. I get there just as a concrete truck basically pulls a 3-pointer in front of me with two guys holding up signs to stop traffic. Fine, I understand, I can wait.

The cement truck gets where he needs to go, parks and ends up blocking half the intersection and ALL the visibility. There is no way in hell to make a left turn out now, nor can anyone really make a right turn in, and even making a left turn in from the opposite direction very tight. The two guys 'directing traffic' basically drop the signs and **** off, leaving everyone holding their dicks.

Nice job, guys. I hope no one murders you.

At least you could GET them. They were like unicorn tears for a while....

Prices are crazy though. Thankfully for me a bucket of pucks, and a bucket of shock lasts a long time.

My MIL has been complaining about this too. She has a tiny pool, but goes through a ton of chlorine.

Went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned for the first time in forever (I know. They chastised me as well.) Before they started they checked my BP. Good idea, it hasn't been checked since before Covid started.

168/110. Last time it was 110/82.

I'm a little freaked out.

Called my doctor and I see him Thursday at 1:30.

Sure am glad I started running the stairs at work recently so it's not a complete shock to my system when I start doing more cardio...

Yikes. That would freak me out too.

But yeah, definitely go for a 2nd opinion.

Might as well start making the necessary diet changes as well as the cardio.
